Anime/Manga Fan Thread

Bleach is overrated, and there are infinitely many shows out there that are much better in terms of action, plot, and pacing.

I never watched the Zampakutou filler (234 - 265) so I couldn't comment on whether to watch it or not - I'm glad I skipped it then!
I've piled up a backlog of 6 bleach episodes now, (because watching 1 a week is so slow and tedious) I know what I'm doing tonight.

Pure fact. I hate dubs, but I wouldn't watch Cro High any other way.

And going back to an ol dpost, I swear Beyblade Metal whatever came out about 5+ years ago? I have a metal beyblade from waaay back, it ripped a hole in my beyblade stadium

As a lot of you know I'm watching SoulEater right now, I just saw Episode 21. For some reason, I really love Chrona, I think he/she is just brilliantly written, idk. He/She's insane and it pulls at my heartstrings a bit.

Also, Death The Kid is amazing. I can't get enough of him, seriously.
And Excalibur too. Troy Baker is brilliant as Excalibur, his song turned out far better than I expected. <3 Troy Baker.

Plus for once, Laura Bailey suits her role as Maka to a T.
The pacing of Soul Eater is also great, never a dull moment, even in would-be-filler episodes.

So far, Soul Eater dub is getting all my thumbs up.

I don't really like how they dubbed Stein, honestly.

Then again, I don't really like Maka's original voice actor either so I guess that balances the dubs.

Yea but that's the actual Beyblades. This new series has new people in it. It'll probably fail like YugiOh GX

Oh, and FUNimation screwed up Black*Star's voice. But yeah, Maka's voice is alright. And Johnny Yong Bosch, yeah.

Just ordered Bakuman from Amazon for �£6.29..

I was on another forum I use and some guy wrote his thoughts about it on his blog page, seemed quite interesting and its by the guys who did Death Note (Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata) - so I thought it was definitely worth checking out. Anyone else know/read it?

36 episodes into Soul Eater now. 3rd ending is EPIC.

I guess I should also note that I decided to revisit the DragonBall anime for the heck of it. I still love the dub.

But really you only need to watch the first 2-3 seconds of it to have your mind well and truly blown.

Just started watching the newer season of Hajime No Ippo (New Challenger), from last year. It started off a little slower, but it's getting really good now.

I'll watch K-On! since it seems that everyone nowadays is watching it.

Is the dub any good?
