Durarara...eh?

CrunchyRoll!

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

Smilie Wow

Anyone interested in anime with some mystery and plenty of thrill should definitely check out Durarara. I'd say it's pretty comparable to Paranoia Agent...in a way. And I found out that the creator of Durarara also made Baccano, which is quite popular among some anime fans I know.

Well I watched like 4 episodes of School Rumble today (it was getting really good and I couldn't wait >>) and now I'm only like 8 episodes away from finishing 2nd Semester. (already!!) I go through phases of liking Tenma a lot less (Poor Harima T_T) and Eri has been pretty tsundere cool in recent episodes. Harima and Yakumo are still ftw though (I think they make a nice couple too...)

I don't wannit to end T_T I hope the conclusions are... conclusive. I also forgot to check out the Extra Class OVA set between the first and second series', so I might do that tomorrow.

I also heard of a manga called School Rumble Z, but there's very little info on it and I can't really find out much without the risk of spoilers. In any case I think it's like a sequel series that focuses more on side characters. Who knows if it'll ever get an anime adaption.

One last thing, I've been thinking of other anime to get into after School Rumble is over. Anime tastes atm are kinda focused on:

- Durarara
- Baka to Test
- Heroman

Kinda hard to class Heroman as an anime, but eh. I think I might check out Baka to Test or K-On! (I watched a bit of K-On! since everyone goes on about it, but not enough to judge)

Also will definitely check out Durarara eventually.

Just re-watched the last 10 episodes or so of Gurren Lagann again today.

I'd like to say I didn't tear up, but I'd be lying. Smilie

The Persona anime is so BLEEEH. They use the Persona 3 Reincarnation tracks(which SUCK...save for a few), some of the characters look so bland, and the whole plot revolves around everyone getting high off of Persona battling. Everything's just so obscure and doesn't make any sense. And it's not the fun kind of confusing; it's just...CONFUSING.

And OK, so Durarara!! isn't as suspenseful as Paranoia Agent...but it IS about as mysterious and dramatic.

Waaaah Smilie I just finished Second Semester of School Rumble, and man was I disappointed with the ending...
I'm gonna watch the last OVA a bit later, but it kinda seems like they skip a whole bunch of important stuff, so would you recommend reading the manga to fill in the gaps (if you guys have seen it)?

I've gotten really attached to it now, so the face that a full third season was planned but cut down to only two OVA episodes makes me sad... Smilie

That's why I'm not finished with School Rumble yet! 'Cuz I'm in no hurry to see it end so quickly! BOAHAHAHAHAHA!

Another thing about DRRR: The whole thing's basically about Anon.

Well I actually finished reading the manga yesterday. Towards the end it got really sad, loads of huge things happened, loads of people cried, and then it had a really shit ending.
Yeah, they need to make another series to make up for that. Desperately.

I haven't watched the OVA yet, I will a bit later, I heard it ends a bit better than the manga does.

Fucking internet hate machine.

Let me rephrase that. It's about how THE MEDIA views Anon.

I have starting to watch Sailor Moon. It is still looking good even after all this time. The design is not as good as some Animé' now, but I still think its impressive. I have also been catching up on Naruto. I am really far behind. Just getting up to the Sasuke retreival arc. I have a long way to go.Smilie

Dragon Ball is now one of my most favorite manga of all time. That, Yu Yu Hakusho, One Piece, something else...

Hot damn, I haven't been this much into reading since..well, Tsukihime and FSN!

What kind of Dragon Ball? I really liked the manga of Dragon Ball but the anime bored me and then when I got to DBZ I just stopped collecting it...

So I'm still pretty sad about School Rumble.

But I finished watching Baka to Test, which is really really funny and awesome, definitely recommend it to those who like comedy. Tons of parodies, nice style, yeah, good fun. The second season is on its way too.

So although I watched and enjoyed the first episode of Durarara, I decided to try and watch the second episode of K-On! first and now I'm hooked. It's really really good! Lovely animation, fun characters, seems to get funnier every episode (kinda like School Rumble I guess). At first I was annoyed by how tiny their hands are but I got over it... Smilie

I've already watched 11 episodes of it, the second season started recently so I'll probably get up to date on that too. I guess I just love comedy anime.

PS. I haven't forgotten about Kara no Kyoukai, just haven't watched it in a while.

Enjoy, my bro says it's awesome and he doesn't even like Anime. Smilie I have yet to see it unfortunately. Smilie

Anyways, Bleach this week, rather uneventful but it looks as if they're building up to something, so I sit on my hands in anticipation. Smilie

Haha, I saw the episode in that gif at lunch time, it was brilliant Smilie
Also the episode in your sig was one of the best so far imo.

I saw Akira back when I was first getting into anime, it's overrated, I really didn't think it was all that amazing. The animation was nice, especially for its day, but I vastly prefer Ghibli stuff.

Just started watching K-ON and I thinks it's awesome and funny, and now I get Jump's sig.

I'm up to date with K-On!! now, just watched Episode 8 after it got subbed, the next episode will probably be up next Wednesday.

Since the new season of YuGiOh: The Cancelled Series started, I'm having a YGOTAS marathon, I'm up to episode ~14. I know it's not exactly proper anime... but I'm waiting for more K-On!! Smilie

When I've finished watching YGOTAS again I'll start watching Durarara again.

Now I just need someone to watch up to KnK 5...

My Fate/Stay Night TV Reproduction 1+2 DVD came in the mail yesterday. I watched the WHOLE THING...which was 2 hours...

I've got to say, they did a nice job capturing the main parts of the plot, but it jumps around a little too much. Not enough

or...well...EVERYTHING! They really could've made it better making it 3 hours long instead of 2. I am partially disappoint.

Oh well, at least Part I wasn't as skippy...except for the whole skipping of

I still recommend the anime.

And anyone know about Kekkaishi or Buso Renkin?
