Anime/Manga Fan Thread

Yeah, I have only seen the Love Hina anime, I know the manga is supposed to be better. Unfortunately the anime has probably put me off trying the manga. >_<
Well, already have masses of manga I want to buy anyway...

I think my next quest will be to track down various game manga. Starting with Zelda, hopefully Tales of Symphonia will be translated to English soon. FUKKENLOVETOS.

Yeah, Pokemon Special rocks. But it\'s so hard to get...I can only find it on ebay, and you can only get it in English from Singapore...
Definitely want to buy more Zelda manga too.

oh god I got the first couple of Love Hina to see what it was like and my mom thought I was getting anime pr0nz....

So I stopped ._.

oh and I have all the olde pokemon manga, like when the main character is Green...from aaages ago

And Lucky Star I just the first episode...it was all about how they liked to eat certain foods.
How is that interesting in any way!??!!?

when i was in spain i brought myself a halmless anime mag (mainly beacuse i was just looking for nice pictures)

i open it up in the shop flick thouight it a bit then i almost colaps because what i had brought was a hentai mag... i was 12!

my mum screeched grabbed the mag and chucked it...

now i look back at it i think it is really quite funny XD

I'm just finishing up Bleach #4 right now. Don Kanonji is crazy I don't remember him being in the anime though. I looked and apprantley he entered in episode 10.

#5&6 should be here tomorrow or Wednesday.

Yeah, Don Kanonji is definitely in the anime. I remember being surprised he was in the manga, it felt rather fillerish to me.

I have always likeed Inuyasha because it has some history on the fuldal era of Japan. The dubbing is really cool and tyhe art style is awsome as well. It is really annoying that the other episodes of the 1st series have not come out in the UK yet.

I think my Bleach #5/6 and Death Note #10 are at the post office, couldn't fit through my letter box.

I'll get my Mum to pick them up tomorrow then i'll get onto ordering Bleach #7/8 and Death Note #11.

i just watched an epsidoe of Eureka seven, and it seems pretty good, anyone have any thoughts on the series as a total.

Hurr, I haven't posted in this thread yet.

And to start off, I don't like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, or any other anime that's just made of filler - give me something that fucking ends.

List here.

Then try Deathnote. Thats short and it fineshes. Bleach and Naruto manga doesn't have any fillers, it's just been going for a long time

To be honest, manga can't have filler can it? It doesn't make sense to, unless the manga came after the anime, which doesn't usually happen.

Filler is stuff that wasn\'t in the manga, so yeah, filler in manga is impossible. (Unless the manga is based on the anime, which is rare).

And Echoes, look at his list, he\'s already seen Death Note.

One Piece anime has hardly any filler anyway.
