Hey anyone read Yotsuba&! ?

I just read its by the same guy who done Azumanga Daioh and I like that. Might start it soon.

God damn, do I fucking love Hellsing.

I thought Hellsing was a bit 'meh'. Blood+ was better. Wasn't bad, just not my kind of thing perhaps. Had a decent dub though. Though I hear the manga and the OVAs are a lot better...

Just started Bleach volume 4 it's pretty good. Starts with Kon trying to leave and getting beat up the Yuzu dresses him up. Funny stuff

Getting into non-mainstream manga that you like is hard, so I'll be going for the game related manga and anime too.

I am hopefully going to order a tonne of manga today.

I was in town the other day and i got talking to this person in a book shop he saw me looking in the manga section and he came up to me.

he kept on looking over my shoulder he eventualy taped my sholder and said "so! what manga do YOU! LIKE?!?!" i chose to ignore him he then carried on talking to me in the end i just walked off... i know it was kind of rude but i could tell he was one of those Otaku's who think they know everything just because they know what is happening in naruto or bleach.

has anyone else incounterd anything like this or is it just me?

You should of turned to him and shouted "RASENGAN!" at the top of your lungs.

Nah, you should have looked at him suspiciously, then gotten a notebook out and \'secretly\' write something in it, then hurry away.

Haha yeah before hurrying away look up straight into his eyes and slightly smile. That would freak me out big time.

FMA's not Shoujo o.0; If it was Shoujo I'd hate it.

The closest to Shoujo I can prolly ever enjoy is stuff CLAMP makes.

Some shoujo stuff is fun to watch. Loads of romance comedies are pretty awesome...Kimi-kiss and Lovely Complex...Vampire Knight...stuff like that. In fact, romance comedies are probably my second favourite genre, after shounen action stuff...
I usually think \'dear god what the hell am I watching\' during the opening and first few minutes, but quickly get addicted and end up loving them.
They\'re much better than the ecchi/harem stuff aimed at guys anyway...I hated Love Hina. Though Zero no Tsukaima was alright, got way too ecchi in the last 2 seasons though. And Clannad was pretty damn good. Air and Kanon were alright, but Kanon was depressing and Air was depressing and made no sense.

EDIT: And School Rumble! How the hell did I forget School Rumble? School Rumble is brilliant.

That\'s a shoujo comic...about football.
Yeah put two terrible together to get baaaaaaaaaad.
(but it gets into the so bad it\'s good region )

oh also is anyone here a lucky star fan? Because everyone seemed to be, I decided to check it out, and it was one of the most boring things I\'ve ever seen wtf!?!?...

I love Lucky Star to bits. I suppose it's a bit 'marmite' though...you either find it hilarious or you find it incredibly dull. How much did you watch? 'Cause you should definitely watch more than just the first episode. The references and the Lucky Channel segments are hilarious.

I love Lucky Star, fantastically random. I loved Azumanga too and I think they're pretty similar.

Shounen manga are for teenage boys, Shoujo for girls, so even though FMA isn't Shonen Jump, it's still Shounen (It's actually published and promoted by our good buddies Squeenix in Japan)

Oh and Ikana, please don't tell me you've only seen the anime of Love Hina, because it's awful.

The manga is where it's at. Personally I loved it.
