Even though I would never have used online because of the hassle, I would admit it would have been so great to have it, it doesn't have to be xbox live standards, just available like ps2.

Better watch yourself Smilie.

In any case Nanaki, people who say, FFXI is better and tottaly overlook'dont even try PSO ep III are fools and missing out on a great expereince.

I played PSO for a year solid, tried C.A.R.D for a while and it really asnt my thing.
The game is outdated nowdays, not saying it isint good but ffixh really is better to play. I have played POS multiplayer many times... im sure not as good asonline but i got the jist of what its like.
While its fun for a while there is nothing to sustain the gameplay and for someones who is a MMORPG guy I need more to a game than presing A 3 times in a row... altho i was doing it for a year solid Smilie

So if the gamecube is not online what can you do with a broadband adapter other then connect to another gamevube with a crossover cable or a hub ???

I'm confused I was going to get a broadband adapter so that I can connect to my mates gamecube and play 8 player Mario Kart DD. I know I can do this witha cross over cable when we are in the same room, but will I be able to do this across the internet in 2 different houses. I assume the broadband adapter supports ome kinda IP address support ?

Sorry for getting all techy, just don't want to buy hardware to find it won't work the way I want i to.

Also thanks for your help in advance, I'm a bit of a gamecube newby !!!

Well im the only member here who has had my gamecube online in every sense of the word.

SO lemme run this by you, oh and this is coming from somone who normally knows nothing about computers or the internet.

2 gamecube games support FULL online, as a PC or Playstation game might go online: Phantasy Star online Episodes 1&2 as well as PSO ep III.
Both games require you to pay SEGA a 30 day hunters liscence fee of
