"Official NGamer Mario Kart 7 Community™. If you want to join us (and why wouldn't you), the community code is: 09-2857-1936-7730"

I had so much fun just now, I was handing it out good to SDDowns of NGamer. I was so far ahead on Luigi's Mansion track, I had the time to lay down a perfect row of banana's in front of the finishing line, then I jumped my way into position next to the line and waited for him to appear, I made sure he saw the situation before I rolled over the line slowly, Smilie

^ Mate, I just burst out laughing picturing that in my mind.Smilie

I've set up a Cubed3 Battles community now, so we can also have Balloon Battles.

A mate in a seminar had a 3DS today, he was playing MK7. I had a quick go and.. well I was impressed with it. The level design was great, the handling was decent (though the circle pad took a slight adjustment) and it felt like classic Nintendo stuff.

But from my short experience with it I definitely agree with C3's 7/10 - it's uber refined and good and all that. But after so many iterations, still it feels like something needs to change for it to be worth it. Unless you're a Nintendo nut.

Which most of are.

I'd say any racing game that forces you to drop your first place position is flawed.

It's not worth the effort for me. The only reason why anyone would do it is to show off online and I couldn't care less if you have 3 stars. It just shows me you like to waste your time (unless you got it first time, which is not likely).

Anyway, I do all these tips, but as he said, you can't always look down to the bottom screen and blue shells still get me.

Isn't that the same for all MK games though? I used to do it in Double Dash's multiplayer all the time. XD

I've gotten pretty much 3 stars in the majority of Cups of I've played on the first time.Smilie But I can't be asked going back and 3 staring some 150CC cupsSmilie even so I wouldn't call it a waste of time if someone does try and 3 star every cup. Nothing wrong with trying to complete a game fully especially if you enjoy doing it. =3

i have a few questions.. first, how do you back OUT of a multiplayer game? so I'm spectating and I just decide I wanna play single player.. but without going to the home screen and closing the game, you can't do this?? hmmm anyone figure this out yet?

You can't, unfortunately. It's an option I really wanted too. Most of the time I have to leave my 3DS if someone wants me and everyone else races.

It usually automatically disconnects you if you leave it too long though (I think it's about 30 second or so).

Yeah, that's definitely one thing that peeves me off about this game.

its driving me nuts.. honestly.. the game is so good.. just so crippled in so many ways. I hope nintendo jumps on updating and stuff like other systems we know.

This is getting ridiculous. All I want is to play a few races online but I can't get into a Worldwide race, let alone stay connected for an entire race if I happen to get in once in a while. Do you have any idea how that makes me feel inside? FURIOUS!! OUTRAGED!! SICK WITH ANGER!!

I'm not alone on this either, a lot of other people are experiencing the same freaking issues.

Seriously Nintendo, fix it. Now.

There is a fix... Mario Kart Wii. Smilie

Are there just too many blue shells or something?

No, the online is just pretty bad. I myself haven't had any problems playing worldwide, but I haven't really played it that much. I've had problems joining the C3 community every now and then though.

Haven't played for a couple of days. Smilie

They need to fix the Wuhu glitch also.

Definitely, such a good level spoiled.

I hope my time of 01:20.550 (Mii) sticks when they do. I'm confident I can shave more off that time.

The Ghost Racing feels a little wayward, I keep thrashing times set my others, even Nintendo's own scores. Where are the WW leaderboards so I can see the larger picture?. Have any of you raced against my ghosts?. As far as I know, I've yet to race the Ghosts of my friends, so poor are the indicators...

I should be able to send Ghosts to friends.

I watched my friend play Mario Kart 7 online for 2 hours straight this evening, on worldwide, and only after 2 hours, he got kicked out. He didn't seem to have any problems the rest of the time.

I got my copy of the game Smilie. I joined the C3 community already. This reminds me that, of you all, I only have SirLink, Marzy, Phoenixus, Stulaw and Mush in my 3DS friends list...

also is one of you guys called Wayne ? I have one in my friends list but can't remember who that was. Maybe a C3 member who just wanted friends on his list and never contributed to the website beyond that, in which case I'll delete him.

Anyway... Been mainly playing in solo and getting used to the controls and Karts in single player mode, 50cc. I only played all the retro tracks so far, and will be starting on the new ones, now that I have a good grasp of the controls.

Wayne is Ifrit, who's been a member here for years. Smilie

Aaaah, sorry then Ifrit XD. My mistake, I usually know the regular members by their first name now, but there are still a few who I need to get to know better, I guess. No offense intended mate. But I did delete a few who I knew for sure were just leeches though.

If a new C3 member wants to add me, I'll add back, but I will delete without any hesitation if they aren't even trying to contribute to our fine community. I like my friends list to be clean and containing only people I know from somewhere, C3 being the main source Smilie.

I'm pretty sure I've got you on my friend list Kafie, your status is something to do about a battery. I remember adding you when the 3DS first came out.

Our member of the week

I had to format my 3DS at some point because it refused to streetpass anything, which means I had a new 3DS code (I posted about that problem in the 3DS code forum).

If you check on your 3DS what was the last time I was online with my 3DS with that particular code (the old one) you'll see that I haven't been online for months...
