No Country for Old Men.

Meh, excting first part, great acting by Javier Bardem and a horrible ending. 7/10

Lethal Weapon 4.

Sometimes funny movie, some good action. Laughworthy explosions; for example a car gets hit by a train and explodes and flies of the train track for no reason, other than the budget allowed for senseless eyepleasing special effects.
And again an ending that's bad. Way too cheerful and look at us all being oh so happy for everything worked out just as we all wanted. 6/10

First half of Apocalypse Now.

Good sleeping material, hopefully the second half is a bit more exciting and interesting.

Once Upon A Time In China 9.873/10

One of Jet Li's finer works. From director Tsui Hark comes an entralling political, comedic, martial arts spectacular. With China faced by Western influence and exploitation, Wong Fei-Hung stands up to his corrupt government who are blinded by greed, even to the extent of selling off large parts of their country. Damn, I wish I had the voice of the Movie Preview Man. This film has some hilarious British and Anglo-American stereotypes. Well worth a watch, I bought the trilogy and am yet to watch the following 2 films.

The Forbidden Kingdom 7/10

Not as bad as I expected, definately not the finest of either Jackie Chan or Jet Li's work though.

Second half of Apocalypse Now.

Finally got a little better, still boring and hard to concentrate on due to the boringness. At least this half had some good scenes like the one with the tape playing while that black guy died, which was somewhat touching. Also the arrival at the place without a commander(forgot the name) in the ditches had a cool atmosphere and was the other captivating moment in the film.

Finally stopped watching at the burial scene, I could hardly force my brain to watch it any longer. I was genuinely afraid I would have slipped into a coma by that point.

All in all, 2 or 3 scenes worthy of attention in a movie of about 2.5 hours gets it 2 points out of 10.

It's a monumental film I read somewhere though, and there is some quote material in there, so maybe I'll add half a point extra. Yeah, I'm in a generous mood.

Final verdict; 2.5/10

Stardust

Alot better than I thought it would be, kept me entertained anyway.

8.0/10

Kung-fu Panda

Good typical Dreamworks film, good but never great.

7.9/10

The Dark Knight

9.9 out of 10
Almost a near perfect movie that kept me interested the whole two and a half hours.

WALL-E

9 out of 10
This was a great story with absolutly stunning visuals. Just a great movie.

The Birds

8.5 out of 10
Another cinematic triumph!! A classic movie that keeps the suspence going throughout the entire movie.

Gandhi

7 out of 10
This 3+ hour movie was pretty good. A little snoozy during the middle, but overall a great movie. If it has to have an intermission, you know it's got to be good!!

This is what a superhero movie should be like. It's hard to describe how good this movie actually is. It's incredible, flawless I can't find a fault at all.

The story, acting and script were top, the script gained alot of laughs throughout (mainly at Heath Ledger sections). Talking about Heath Ledger, if he doesn't win the Oscar for best supporting Actor I am going to be left scratching my head. His performance was remarkable easily the best Joker in the Batman saga.

The movie was roughly 2:30 hours and I enjoyed every second of it. I am so glad it wasn't 90 minutes like most other Superhero movies because they always rush and try to fit in too much towards the end.

Easily the best film I have seen this year without doubt, I am total agreement with the IMDb rating because I too rated it 10/10.

Go see it now.

La Vita e Bella

This was great. Very funny movie, amazing how they managed to make me laugh with that setting(second half). Go see it...BUT! Watch the Italian spoken version with subtitles, the first time I watched this it was a dubbed English version which was really horrible.

9/10

Truely amazing movie with enough action to be two movies. Never a dull moment. Plus, it has Samuel L. Jackson in it, which makes it even better!!;-Smilie

The latest film that I have watched was the new Batman film the Dark Knight. That film had everything that I was hoping for in a superhero movie. The story was amzing, the cast was perfect. I would give this 100/100. If anyone has not seen this movie do so when you have the chance because you will not be dissaponited. Also it has some great twists.

After watching WALL-E the other week, then "The Pixar Story" on Sky i've started to re-watch their movies.

So I watched The Incredibles just know. Good movie, I never really loved like most other people did, but after re-watching its very very good.

I am also going to be watching A Bug's Life and Ratatouille again also.
