Why didn't they keep moving animations for Pokemon since Crystal? And not leave them out in R & S and put them back in Emerald.

Hopefully they actually consider bringing in Johto into the 4th gen. That would make my day

It'll only be worth buying if there are significant changes to Diamond/Pearl like changing the character you play as. (the boy looked like an arrogant french homosexual! )

Plus i hope that you can catch Arceus/Shaiman in the game without having to go to a specific game store ages away for a stinking legendary.

It'll probably be Diamond and Pearl with a Few new mons in it. This is coming from a long term pokemon fan, but the underground will be useless with Wi-fi, There was no Find random people and fight them. they should just make a proper 3d version and put it on wii already.

Nah, there won\'t be new Pok�mon till 5th gen. Just the new Shaymin and Giratina forms.

Although I'm beginning to doubt there WILL be a 5th gen. No new 'mon yet in the Anime or games? Usually there are a couple by now...

Hm...true....they might want to wait until after platinum has sold a bit...they might think that people won\'t bother with Platinum if they know a new gen is on the way.

I reckon there will definitely be a new generation of Pok�mon though. New Pok�mon are pretty much the main thing that makes each generation of games different. And I doubt they\'ll shake up the formula of the games much, regardless of how much people want it. And they\'re certainly not just gonna stop producing Pok�mon games, that\'d be madness.

i knew about al ot of DS games before i had a ds and so did my friends so its not that uncommon

I'm pretty sure there isn't another Regigigas form. But it is rumoured. We already have Shaymin Sky Forme and Giratina Origin Forme. How many forms are there gonna be anyway?

There has to be Johto so we can get new Shellos/Gastrodons D:.

I know they won\'t be/might not be in Platinum, but didn\'t think they were worth a new thread. What do people think? 5th gen?

I reckon they're fakes (Saw 'em on Serebii earlier today) It's that time again. Not to mention they all look VERY similar. If they're 5th gen then the quality of design has... gone kinda square.

Of course if they ARE real, and if there WILL be a 5th gen, then YAY!

It is now confirmed and it seems CoroCoro has them in their new issue, so it\'ll likely be next month before we see anything new

So they seem real. Hope they are. But yeah, they do all look similar. Guess there\'s probably a reason for it though. Either alternate forms of one Pok�mon...or something. Or the evil Team Cube are going around squarifying Pok�mon...or something... XD

So, after a few, requests I finally decided to write an article on Pokemon Platinum. Here's the breakdown (I must say, it sounds a lot cooler than Daimond or Pearl):

-Pokemon Platinum is scheduled to be released on Septemer 17 to all of Japan. The dates for anywhere else have yet to be announced.

-Giratina will be appearing on the cover, being the third of the dragon trio. (Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia)

-There will, of course, be a special promo DS kit:

-The GTS will have some new changes to it, including the introduction of the "Global Terminal". This allows you to also trade with your your friends over Wi-fi. (The way that this is different from just regular trading over Wi-Fi has yet to be announced).

-A new item called the "Battle Recorder" is introduced, which (of course) records battles, which you can then send to anyone in the world.

-The story is slightly different from that of the others. Shinnoh's gotten colder, and a mysterious void has appeared at the top of Mt. Coronet, which takes you to the Ruined World, Giratina's original domain. In this world, Giratina takes on his Origin Forme:

-Due to Shinnoh's colder climate, the main characters have taken on a more covering clothing style to keep themselves warm. Even the Poketechs have a new design:
