Yer they were some good races and thanks, that\'s usually why I prefer the classic tracks over the new ones.

My favourite new course has to be, Maple Treeway. I love the music on it too.

Yeah Maple Highway is one of my favourites also. I think the quality in the graphics art really shows itself well in this level in particular. It reminded me of the same quality I saw in Galaxy.

Yeah online score board glitch or somthin, offending times have been removed now though.

Anyway after a substantial amount of time put into it now, I can say this game is rally rally gud like.

Online is great, I though it would feel like double dash but it dosn't, not even when i'm playing Double Ass tracks.
I really like the music in moo moo farm aswell.

Yeah Moo Moo\'s is great, as well as Maple Tree\'s. Online is sweet, who would have thought it would all run so smooth, it brilliant. Shame the same cannot be said with Brawl. I think online I actually prefer Mario Kart. I\'ve been having a great time online

Someone should arrange a room a a set time so we can have a little C3 grand prix

Dunno i had mixed feelings when i first played this game, felt very lack luster. Ive figured though i dont seem to like games as much as i used to. Perhaps ive become a lil bit more picky or more expectant of what they should be like.

Either way, after a considerable amount of time with the game ive begun to like it. Ive done all the cups on 50cc and before going up to 100cc or 150 im trying to get star ratings on the cups but finding it incredibly difficult. Ive got 2, but with the annoying but yet fun unpredictability of mario kart i always get hit near the end and getting second in a race or two which takes my overall rank down to a B or something

Ive also been playing on Time Trials, quite like the challenge on that. Ive got 7 staff ghosts, but cant seem to get any more which is highly infuriating!

Ive put the game done for a bit.

The controller issue is something that i can't quite figure out. I like all of them, the GC option was my last one but by far the best one. However ive reverted back to the wheel for novelty use. If i was to go online or play multiplayer id use the GC or classic controller for better control.

The wheel does work quite well but for drifting you can sometimes drift the opposite direction you intend to, ruining your lil run.

Also i must say Gamestation yesterday (and aparently today) in Birmingham were running a Mario Kart competition in collarboration with Nintendo. You have to set the best course time for a specified course with the course changing every hour.

I had just bought the game yesterday and before i'd even played it i had a go in the shop. I set the lap time on mushroom gorge as 2mins 19secs. No one beat it, so i got a Mario kart ruck sack, 2 mario kart lanyards, 3 mario kart key rings, a mario kart cap and a mario kart t-shirt.

Score!

I am going to round up some Wii friends with messages now. Ross should definitely play, I agree they are always fun.

OK, Graig, at 8.30 exactly open a room with a Welcome, I am going to pass that on to loads of people in the hope that they log in.

W00t playing this game a lot and have nearly got all the characters. 2 more to go! I also know how to get the Mario Kart Channel. U have to install from the online service. Keep clicking on the botom bit for message service and installation.

Oh, and you can add Games Tm to your list LS, they gave MKWii 6/10 and the issue is quite recent.

hey go on the c3 mario kart chat channel me, jb and a few others are in there.

I got my ass whipped severe, I just could not hack the heated competition, they were out for blood. My nerves feel shattered

EDIT: Back in form, got the window open fresh air rushing through and I am winning again know that I feel better Gave Echoes and Laurelin a good thrashing

Can someone tell me why my Wii Remote stays on while my WB is on, shouldn\'t it turn off?, its wasting my fricking battery.

Trust me when I say this game is all about online. Fair enough with what you say above, I agree in part, but take this game online (somehow!) before you pass judgement fully For once Nintendo have got the online sorted, yes it has it\'s few strange quirks but the fun is there and it all runs smooth.

Yeah the way the wii remote stays on is a bit annoying, I was sure it always went off eventually. If i\'m using the GC controller I\'ll just nudge a battery out of the wiimote to cut the power and then seal it back up.

I played an unhealthy amount of it today.

Aaaargh this game is terrible! I know it sounds hard to believe but I am bored of it already. I have all the characters bar one and 1 star on 150cc cups is evil. Weapons hit my ass continualy and i lose all the time. I hate the games weapons and I am already quitting from the game. The single player is terribly boring. And the online is equally as frustrating.
Basically what im saying is leader bombs and red shells every 5 seconds isnt funny or fun. It makes Grand Prixs stupidly hard. *end Mario Kart Wii is shit rant*

I\'ll definitely be able to play tonight. I would have came on earlier last night, but I didn\'t know about it, sorry. I got on about 10:00 I think and joined a load of other C3 members, it was good fun. Hopefully we can get something sorted out for tonight again.

Also, last night I saw a couple of people on the chat room saying they added me, but I wasn\'t sure who. Please let me know, so I can add you.

That battle mode I played with LS and the others, that has to be the first time I ever enjoyed that mode. Gotta get one going with twelve players.

It can be frustrating yes, but I see that as part of the the fun. I was part of the BIG C3 meet last night, and although I pretty much sucked (i did win 1 GP even if it was a team one, I got the most points so there! ) and I trailed for many of the races, but I like that, because you can get the best weapons (Stars, Gold Mushrooms, Bullet Bill) and really sneak it. Single player, I've just started the retro cups on 100cc and I'm loving that also.

That was the first time I had played Battle Mode altogether, not just online! . My housemates had not let me have a good look into my own game! We should definitely sort out a event later.

I talked to Jb earlier on the Chat Hub and he is well up for it! I reckon he should host it?. I think this time it\'s important that we get even numbers right also.
