Smilie@ what the queen of the Honey Hive Galaxy calls Mario when he is in his New-Bee Suit Smilie.

I also love the fact Nintendo do not even want the word "pain" in the game and have therefore changed it to pang when talking to Luma's Smilie.

Yeah... no pressure on the C3 reviewers guys. Smilie

EDIT: What makes me lol even more is that ONM UK's score DOESN'T go towards the average. Crazy eh? I guess they're THAT well known for their horribly poor judgement (except for Mike Jackson. Old NOM team members FTFW)

On the other point even the official 360 magazine does, so perhaps your right, they are well known for their lack of quality it would seem.

JTang send me your stars tally when you have racked a decent amount up. That goes for everyone, let it be a race across the Galaxy!.

Three days. Man, its so close!

I feel like Link in Majora's Mask, with the Moon slowly approaching to kill us all. Well, this game is gonna kill whats left of my social life, thats for certain.Smilie

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just watched the IGN video review and the ace Bowser stages are back from Mario 64! They've even got the same (brilliantly catchy) music aswell.

Hype meter : 15/10

What? Don't use a guide, guides are cheap, don't be cheap J...Smilie Besides, who uses guides anymore?

Yeah, I'll put up a star count tonight, getting the game half an hour from now. Now that'll be fun, a race for the stars between members.Smilie

You would of bought it to if you seen how beautiful it is. It also comes with a giant poster of the Boxart. So I had to buy.Smilie

Guys you can send your Stars Tally to Wii Friends via the game. Evil Shy Guy I will add your code to my Wii.

Just to make things interesting the first one up to 120 Stars will recieve 1000 Wii Points from me in order to buy a VC game of their choice. As soon as you can send games I will do so to that very person.

So is this race just between me and the Evil Shy GuySmilie
Edit: wait I gotta get to class.

No everyone can enter, well my Wii friends I suppose, in order to win you will need to send proof via your Wii of your actual tally, no photos Smilie.

Bit unfair. What if someone uses a guide to find all the Stars? I sure as hell won't be (using one for SM64 ruined it for me), but someone else might.

I am sure JTang will be using one lol. Using a guide does not mean he will be able to get them all for certain before anyone else, it will also take skill on his part and others using such guides. I do however see your point, but those people should realise that using guides can ruin your experience of a game so really it is their loss, and such a loss given the quality of this game.

Some of the stars in this game are ridiculously hard to get by all accounts.

This is just for fun.

Really? Didn't hear anything about that, guess you don't have to rely on us being truthful.Smilie...(DARN!)
Well that'd be awfully generous of ye, though I can't think of any games I'd use it on that I don't already have or would want to play, though there's no guarantee of my victory anyway.Smilie

I have a fair few points on my account I can give to someone worthy, besides it's the festive season and the time for giving Smilie.

Well load it up dude and give us your annoying impressions when you had a decent fill Smilie.

Come on you can give me more credit than that. My strategy guide won't come into play untill I reach that moment where difficulty is slowing down gameplay which in mario doesn't happen much. Also I f I used the guide right off the back there wouldn't be any puzzles for me to figure out myself.

Oh Yeah Evil Shy Guy when the hell are you getting BWii, Zack & Wiki, and/or Medal of Honor Heroes2?

I was not taking the piss I just know for a fact that a few stars in this game are ridiculously hard to get, so even with a guide to help you, you and perhaps others will struggle. I never suggested you would be using one off the back, that would be a crazy thing to do that would evaporate the fun.

Enjoy the game at your leisure JTang, just know that if you are doing well and nearing that goal you have added incentive. I myself have nothing to gain or to lose apart from some Wii Points that I would otherwise give as gifts this Christmas.

A U.K Wii Friend that is a journalist has got a copy, annoying Smilie.

( Edited on 13.11.2007 19:42 by Linkyshinks )

Received a message from a friend, told me that his copy of Galaxy was sent today. He told me to check mine and I did. My copy was sent today so there's a good chance it will be mine tomorrow.

Yippee. Smilie

I cancelled my pre order a while back wanting to collect on launch day Smilie. I really do not mind that much as long as I have a copy within the week that's fine.

I finally have my copy.SmilieSmilieSmilieSmilie

Why do those who order get early? No fair. Smilie

Anyway, I refuse to use a guide, I used a guide a few times for bits on Paper Mario that really stumped me, but I refuse for a game like this. I can prolly complete it without 120 stars easy, but if there's a star or two I find impossible, I might not. Still, I'm a weathered veteran gamer, I will no fall to the shame of using a guide on the biggest game release in 10 years. Smilie

No offence to those who wanna use a guide, just my personal thought. Smilie

With games like this, it's never really the figuring it out part anyway - it's the doing it. Smilie

Just saw that IGN Video Review and I'm loving the enviroments they showed off. And the music - wow. Smilie

COME ON FRIDAY!

Tom Barry [ Reviewer - Editor - Resident Sim-Racer @ Cubed3.com ]

My copy has been posted. I will probably be playing tomorrow night. I hope. I'm in media blackout mode still, so I'm not reading through the rest of this thread. Kthxbye.

Smilie

(I expect it Thursday really, but I can wish!)
