Too true - I'm hoping that this was the end of it, but part of me thinks that it was just a warning shot and there's going to be something else happening. I just hope to God my feeling is wrong.

Well, I heard about it later today when my mom told me of the attacks. I'm sorry to hear about it, and remember, despite our differences, Americans understand what you all are going through and you all have a friend in us.
Despite my dislike of Bush, I'm sure he will assist your country in hunting down those bastards who are responsible. Actually I believe he is...
Hmm... Were these attacks suicide bombings? I should do further research into this.
The double decker bus was at least. I haven't heard about the other 3 explosions.
There hasn't been any confirmation of suicide bombing either way, they're still researching the matter. The fact that they went off pretty close to each other in terms of time could suggest that it was a remote controlled bombing. Not enough information is out to determine it either way for now.
Mason wrote: They could have done it if they really wanted to is my opinion on the matter. I just don't think that was the purpose, I think the point was to send out a warning to the visiting leaders, to show that their campaign isn't over and to shake up the country the same way that they shook up America.
Head of the nail buddy.
Did anyone catch Bush's facial expressions during one of blairs speeches? He looked like he was trying real hard to supress a smirk or a laugh...it really did. A bit suspecious
I hate the fact that public services (trains/buses) where the target this time, I'm almost positive this will have some negative effect on them...

This is not good, i've been harassed several times before, after 9/11, now what, I didn't do nothing, but some people are ignorant.
I'm Muslim.

I caught that as well. He was doing the same during a Trevor McDonald interview on ITV the other day - he doesn't seem to have any kind of respect. At least he was more serious later on. I agree with GR, we don't need to go chasing after entire countries, just the culprits.
If only 37 people have died that preety good compared to Madrid last year 170-190(not sure) so London was kind of lucky that not many people died. But there is alot of people missing aswell.
And if BUSH gets involved were going to have world war 3.
I think the death poll is at around 50 now...
Seems to be defiinitely the works of terriosts associated with Al-Queda woth Osama Bin Laden.. scary indeed.
wouldn't it be more damaging to blow yourself up in the british live8 concert?
It would be pretty traumatic for every person there, no?
And if BUSH gets involved were going to have world war 3.
Oh, shut the fuck up. Comments like that really annoy me. You obviously have no idea what you're on about, and you're just joing the bandwagon of the 'I hate Bush' club.
I think the bombings are terrible, but I know people who have been saying that it would happen for years. After 9/11 it was pretty obvious that it was going to happen. It's still tragic and terrible, but it was always going to occur.
