The seventh main-series entry into the Activision's longrunning Call of Duty series, Black Ops, has been confirmed for Wii.
When the project was originally announced there was little detail into which platforms it would venture onto - the likely contenders, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, have since been confirmed but it left Wii owners wondering if there'd ever be a chance.
However it looks you will be pumping lead with your Wii remotes when Call of Duty: Black Ops arrives in November. Eurogamer contacted Activision regarding a comment made in a preview with USA Today, with a representative noting:
Black Ops will be available on all four platforms, PS3, X360, PC and Wii, on 9th November.
