Anyone picked this up? I was pleasantly surprised once I started experiencing the game in multiplayer, which is where it comes alive. I was critical of it before it came out, since I'm not happy at all with how Nintendo views this series and has done nothing respectable for its 30th year, but I'm glad I got the chance to play it and have it change my mind. It's far from brilliant, but it has its moments, and the co-op campaign can be fun.

Might pick it up when it's super cheap (not really in a rush to get it). I always thought it looked pretty fun in co-op mode and with online it's even more appealing. Plus I really enjoyed online Prime Hunters, back the day.

Just wish this would have been on Wii U though. Being on the 3DS was the main thing turning me off it.

I've had it since it came out! Its easy to enjoy with a group of friends so I actually get along well with it. Smilie

I own all the consoles, ask me anything

It certainly would have played more comfortably on the Wii U, but the CPP setup ends up working very well in the end. Once you get used to having to have both your index and middle fingers on the left shoulder buttons all the time, it's pretty comfortable. I'm not sure I'd prefer the small nub stick on the n3DS over the CPP attachment's bigger circle pad, and the CPP gives a more controller-moulded feel to it for extra comfort, too.

Loved playing C3ers on Metroid Prime Hunters back in the day. We had quite a few people playing it back then!

I've been ploughing through this game though, quite enjoying it so far. I get why people are a bit pissed. It's not a Metroid game but it fits in a weird way.

Would be good to get some C3ers together for a co-op sesh on this, but can't imagine that'd be likely these days hah.

But yeah, defo not a Metroid game really, but taken on its own merits, it is fun when you play it in the right environment as intended.
