Second Sight

I played a demo of this for PS2. It looks very interesting. I'll be buying it for Gamecube thought. Anyone else anticipating this title?

I wasn't interested at first but it seems quite cool!

Well the staff have a demo of this game.......we just can't play it.

What do you mean you can't play it?

We got send a special disk that requires a special drive to play it. Nintendo wont send us the drive to play these discs.

perphaps its one of those special copies only special gamecubes can play. Magazines have them

Nintendo didn't send us the disc, the guys behind second sight did.

Yeah, it needs an NR reader to play it, Nintendo refuse to send us one, or anyone outside of magazine journalism/publishing; apparently. Anyway, I'm getting an advance review copy of the title that I WILL be able to play, so expect a full review soon. This game looks SO cool

I think Second Sight has tonnees of potential, made by free radical (timesplitters 2) very experienced developers in making this type of game. A nice idea, 3rd person, looks very good; also, its released pretty soon so I may buy it.

NOM did give it a review last issue, and while I was blagging through the childish jokes and crap writing I got the impression it's quite good, though a lesser MGS.

I've got to say that the way they are pushing this game worries me. Codemasters have emailed me loads of times bigging it up, and on most of the forums I'm a member of (and a couple of newsgroups) they've seemed to 'follow' me, bigging the game up, 'releasing' screenshots and movies. I think that the game sounds decent, and anything from Free Radical has (so far) been great.

I just think they are pushing it FAR TOO MUCH.

Wait till they start the Resident Evil: Outbreak promotions - then you'll be screwed.

I didnt think id find such a good single player game so soon after completing beyond good and evil.Ragdoll physics and telekinesis are funny
