Given how I've not really enjoyed Mass Effect 3 on Wii U that much...and how I've been told that I missed out on too much of the story by skipping ME1+2, then yes, I definitely think there should be some way Nintendo fans can try it out.

Indeed, Adam, and for that reason I would vote for both retail and eShop releases if possible. Otherwise, eShop would suffice. But for people that do have a PS3/360, it's dirt cheap now. Just pick it up.

Mass Effect is a special case, Mass Effect 3 was meant to be one really long ending sequence. It really didn't make sense to me why EA would release it on its lonesome on Wii U. Some of the resolutions to the storyline are just incredibly intense and sad. if you've played the previous two games.
Yeah, Jay, was going to say the same. Mass Effect 3 review coming up shortly, but it definitely is a special case. I doubt Bayo 1 not being on Wii U will be much of a big deal. Just like starting a Resident Evil numbered game isn't as bad a deal if you haven't played the one before it. A nice bonus to have, but shouldn't be a big problem for most poeple. ME is just a unique case and it really is a bizarre decision to release only ME3 on Wii U.
Yes! On both retail AND eShop! I have on the 360 but I would happily purchase it again for the WiiU. B1 is one of my fav games of all time and I am beyond excited for the sequel. Oh and IF they re-release the first one on the U then I hope they can push the machine a bit. Higher res an better frame rate for example. But it's really not important as long as we get the game.
Another thing is I am really curious as to how Platinum games will use the console for the sequel.
As for ME3! I find it rather silly that the other consoles got the trilogy with the extras and the WiiU got the last part only. Of course people will get the trilogy on the other consoles. And then they will whine that their games don't sell on Nintendo platforms... Give us the same treatment and we might be more interrested in purchasing your darn games!
Bayonetta: Director's Cut. Make it happen .
If it was just a straight port I wouldn't buy it personally, I own it already and you can find it on the PS3 for around €8, but I think it'd be a great idea. The only cost in releasing it as a download only title would be in porting it, and it would give those who haven't played it an opportunity to get into the series.
That said, if it was an enhanced port, I wouldn't be able to resist.

If you have it on PS3 you've yet to experience Bayonetta as it should be experienced. The PS3 version is truly dire, terrible slow down and ugly graphics. It's not made by PlatinumGames.
Actually I own it on 360, I heeded the warning of GameCentral (ahh, teletext) and avoided the PS3 version. I have been seriously tempted to buy it again on PS3 though as, as much as I love it on 360, I want to play it with the flat buttons of the PS3 controller. I heard a patch fixed it up quite nicely, is this not the case?
A patch fixed up almost all of the framerate issues on PS3, and you can install a chunk of the game to HDD so it alleviates a lot of the load times. People exaggerate the problems with the PS3 version these days, and are only thinking about how it was when it released. 360 version probably is the superior version if you want as little framerate and load issues as possible, but the PS3 version is perfectly playable. I had no issues. They say other games like Red Dead Redemption and GTA4 run better on 360, and FFXIII and Dragon Age run better on PS3, but it's just minor niggles. For the prices you can pick these games up for these days, is it worth me buying the other console for just to play with a little less slowdown? Course not. Angus, if you wanna get Bayo on PS3, do it. You might notice more niggles than I would if you have it on 360, too, but for most people, it's very petty stuff that people are moaning about. It's still the same enjoyable game.

It's still not as good with the fix, and it's night and day. The PS3 version is fundamentally shoddy. Bayonetta's gameplay relies heavily on seamless movement and a solid framerate so players can plan ahead, this is severely diminished on PS3. Added to the fact the game on PS3 looks ugly in direct comparison. The fix did not even attempt to remedy some things, because of the costs involved.
PlatinumGames themselves a few months ago called the PS3 version their "biggest failure"
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-09-26-platinum-games-calls-bayonetta-on-ps3-its-biggest-failure
In an interview with Edge, Platinum producer Atsushi Inaba confessed that the studio denied handling the PS3 port of Bayonetta, opting to instead pass it off to an in-house team at its publisher, Sega. The resulting game featured washed-out colours, a choppy frame-rate, lengthy load times and control issues.
"Throughout the game the gap in performance is colossal, and pretty much unprecedented," wrote Richard Leadbetter in Digital Foundry's Bayonetta face-off in 2009.
"The biggest failure for Platinum so far, the one that really sticks in my mind, is that [Bayonetta] port," lamented Inaba. "At the time we didn't really know how to develop on PS3 all that well, and whether we could have done it… is irrelevant: we made the decision that we couldn't. But looking back on the result, and especially what ended up being released to users, I regard that as our biggest failure."

I remember them saying that, but that was about the initial release version. The version available now is not the terrible release version. All the comments I've seen from people that have played both versions say the patch fixes a good chunk of problems and really aren't gonna be noticeable to your average player. If you have a choice of one or the other, of course get the 360 version. But for someone like me, who just wanted to give the game a try and see the story and gameplay, and found it for under £5, some small framerate issues aren't gonna be a problem. There's no way you're telling me I'm getting a completely different experience by playing it on PS3. If anything, I'd end up liking it less on 360 since I prefer the PS3 controller.

The original Bayonetta on Wii U? YES PLEASE!!! As long as they do a good job porting it over, and maybe throw in some extra content.
I'd personally prefer a retail copy, but I believe it would be good if they released it in both formats. Same for Bayonetta 2.

Never played the original and the wii u game pad feels really comfortable so I would buy a downloadable version of Bayonetta.
I voted for an eshop purchase of Bayonetta 1, but a decent back story within Bayonetta 2 would be okay too.
My only reservations are that the Wii U came along with entries into quite a few popular series and we cannot expect to win all of the petitions that start regarding previous series games.
Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Darksiders.
