strategy

if you could make a stratergy game what would you make it like
eg:historical/fantasy
diffrent enamies frends-goblins,orks elves that sort of thing
heroes if there was any do you make stuff then fight like age of empires. spells and stuff anything like that go on be creative!!!

Nice thread Beefcake. I personally like 'fantasy' themes - orcs, elves, etc. No random battles either - you fight if you wish to or avoid. Personally I prefer games with magic themes as well as the usual weapons. Fighting to be turn-based. Games like this immerse you away from the real world and the shit within it - wars, beheadings. Need I go on?

andoria you have my brain it that sort of genre (fantasy) same i love stuff like elves orks ect...... i have a game (warlords battle cry 3) whare you can summon unded skeligtons zombies and wolf- men i think that is awsome!!!

Seriously, I loved Baldurs Gate and enjoyed Dungeon Siege (even if this was a little repetitive). The reason I love my SP so much is that I can play these lovely strategy games whilst on the move. Only tonight, I sat on the tube playing Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dragon.

Picture the seen. 8:20 am Im late for school. I have 5 minutes inwhich to multitask my daily rituals to get to the bus. Command hoardes of willing servants to get Mini Redking ready for school. Failure means a 2 hour lecture from My mum about the importance of Being in time for school.
