Well... if it was a direct sequel to Skyward Sword, then for consistency's sake, I'd rather they stick to the same kind of art style, like they did between Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. However for a completely new game, I'd like a come back to a more realistic look (That Zelda HD demo from E3 2011 looks absolutely gorgeous *drools*)

Agreed. I think it's also important that the world/general quest is different, like with OoT-MM and WW-PH. I don't want to be visiting the same Skyloft just with a different story and dungeon designs, for example.

Yes
Same art style and plot

Just no. Ugh, no.

They need to change the series drastically. I enjoyed ZSS, but ultimately it was quite weak, gameplay-wise. Watching the story unfold was very enjoyable, but I'd rather not be reminded of this game again.

It's the first Zelda game I've played that's actually disappointed/frustrated me so much. They need to learn from this, and then move away from it >.>

Actually I'd rather have a futuristic Zelda game like the rumor/fake one that was talked about a few years ago on gametrailers.com, the one that SUPPOSEDLY Square was working on with Nintendo.

And before ANYONE cries foul remember that Zelda can excist in ANY time frame...so long as the SPIRIT of the series remains intact (i.e. exploration, puzzles, dungeons, new useful equipment & a feeling of adventure) & I think that'd be a GREAT way to show off the Wii U's power & silence ANY doubters.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

I'd actually like to see what Retro Studios could add to Zelda, since, in my opinion, I think they superbly brought back Metroid and DK. This doesn't suggest that Zelda needs a overhaul, but maybe a different angle or perspective.

a) I want multiple art-styles in the same game. Lets have the rendering style shift and change as you go though different area's. Have the linework express the emotion of he area.

b) Keep mc, but expand on the tech a lot more. More physics, more sword reactions with the enviroment. Give Link a expanding pole thing so he can use it like a pole-vault, but also a weapon or to grab into stuff based on merely the direction he uses it.

c) Dont care when/where its set.

Whatever the case, I just want motion-based controls out of the game. It was novel in Twilight Princess; in this game, it was far too glitchy and unreliable. I want to mash buttons!!!

Either you didnt play the game or your Wii M+ controllers broken. There was nothing unreliable or glitchy about SSs controls.

Sadly it won't happen. It's too bad really, because now it will take another 5 years, and again all eyes will be on the new art style and technological leap and on the bloody Ocarina comparisons.

I think Nintendo has maneuvered themselves into a corner where a new Zelda has to be the be-all, end-all DEFINITIVE Zelda game for each and every gamer ever. A sequel in maybe 2 years wouldn't have to carry that burden, see Majora's Mask. Nintendo needs to take some of the pressure of the team.
