Listed as a rumour for the time being, but probably true. Could be right - maybe they are getting more help from Nintendo, which would be great.

After a little research though, they managed to work on both Baten Kaitos games and Xenosaga 1/2/3 at the same time last gen. And now they've recently just opened a new studio, so doesn't seem farfetched at all that they can work on a Wii U game and a 3DS game at the same time.

A new post on NeoGAF says that there is no mention of Monolith Soft in that particular issue of Nintendo Dream. Almost certainly fake then. Baten Kaitos 3 could still be on the cards though (so fucking intentional pun XD), as that could still be the Wii U game they're working on.

Aw, do apologise for getting your hopes up. Never say never though, eh?

Haha, no worries. I have that line in my signature for a reason. Smilie

@jb

I've lost the password and e-mail address associated with that account, and the password of my old account. I let some of my mail accounts die when I was ill.

I'll create a new account soon, possibly with an old username, if you're able to delete the old one. Perhaps you can refill my status to what it once was after a new profile has been created.

I have tickets to the Zelda concert in London this October, I was planning to do a report for GoNintendo, although it would be better posted here as they'll likely feature it anyway.

I'll be meeting the conductor and orchestra after as part of my ticket, but a "press pass" would really help in order to obtain a formal interview.

I have no idea what Nintendo UK's plans are. Will Nintendo officially be attending, will they be issueing press tickets and offer interview opportunities?. Also, will any 25th anniversary goodies be on sale to the public in the foyer? I know I'll be getting some stuff free, but what about everyone else?. I'd like to buy a load of stuff for friends, and eBay.

I've been meaning to email their PR, because to date they've given no indication of what their plans are. Which I do find suprising for such a momentous ocassion.

Given that the Ambassadors games are due to roll out from Thursday, has Nintendo given any way for the EU users to check our systems are registered?

Nintendo of Japan has revealed a list of the 10 NES Ambassador games. It might differ between regions but we can assume that most (especially the more popular ones) are going to be the same for Europe as well.

Super Mario Bros.
Donkey Kong Jr.
Balloon Fight
Ice Climber
The Legend of Zelda
Wrecking Crew
NES Open Tournament Golf
Yoshi
Metroid
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Personally, having Zelda and Zelda II in there is great for me. Metroid is pretty cool as well. I'll probably take my 3DS with me for those 20 minute busrides to school each day and torture myself with some Zelda II to get ready for school. Smilie

'Yoshi' must be 'Mario & Yoshi', as it was known here? Still have that on my GB, and loved it. Nice selection of games though.

There's a link on the European Nintendo website saying you can access the Ambassador program tool, to find out if your regitered. But when I try to go to it, it just takes me back to the main page.

They seem to have removed part of the page where they put the inactive URL for checking. Guess It'll just have to hope I'm in it

I hate to complain, but Nintendo seem to be losing it...

NES Games Ready to Download

Only in US and Japan now I think.

Well done NoE. Both Japan and America get their free games early and we haven't even got the tool to check if we're actually 3DS Ambassadors yet.

Well, looks like NoE is returning to its old self again. >.<

I'm looking forward to trying out Wrecking Crew and Metroid, since I've never played those before. Some Super Mario Bros. is always good too.

I've got all the NES games now! & the Ambassador Certificate! Smilie

Me too! Smilie

Downloading them now. Smilie

What's the Ambassador Certificate?

Probably something to feed our egos with. Seriously though, I don't know either. Smilie

I think I'm going to download the games later. My 3DS is probably going to be happy to be used again. Smilie

What's the Ambassador Certificate?

It is an application which is essentially a video. That's not all though, you can choose to recieve notifications about Ambassador Program updates via. this app.

Updates meaning: When the full list of GBA titles have been announced, we will get a notification with the complete list. We will also get a notification when the release date has been announced. We'll probably get a notification when one of the games has been released to the public, informing us that we can now update that game to the "Paid Version".

Had some fun on Mario & Yoshi. I remembered this game as being really hard. Wasn't there a Game Boy version of that one btw ? I'm pretty sure I played this on a Black & White Game Boy back in the days XD.

Yep, I've got it for my Gameboy.

Thanks for explaining Mush, just saw it myself and activated the notifications. Smilie

I would have liked it better if they had included Dr. Mario rather than Mario & Yoshi though. It's a better puzzle game in my eyes, but maybe they will never put the NES version on offer because of the DSiWare version already being available.

I would have liked to have my quick fix of Dr Mario on the go Smilie. Guess I'm stuck for the time being, waiting for Nintendo to make eShop cards available so I can actually buy something from them.

You're welcome, Marzy. Smilie

I think it's a missed opportunity, not putting the old Kid Icarus game in that list. It would have help with the hype of the new game.

It's great to have the first Metroid & Zelda 1 & 2. I've never played them and it'll be interesting to see how they started out. The NES is the only Nintendo console I've never owned (as well as the Virtual Boy of cause).

The first Zelda was bloody awesome (for a NES game). Not only was it epically big, it was basically a proper Zelda game, with dungeons, bosses, boomerangs, save function etc. When you compare it to other NES games (Donkey Kong or Tennis for example) it really does seem amazing.

The 2nd Zelda on the other hand was just odd...

Has anyone seen the Mighty Switch Force trailer on the 3DS eShop? The 3D effect in it looks really good and the game looks great too.
Also watch the end of the Glee 3D trailer on the 3DS Nintendo Video channel. It's the first time I've ever seen anything fly out of the screen. The film it self though doesn't look too good. Smilie
