I'm in a pickle here.
I can't decide whether to get Sonic Unleashed for X-Mas or Castlevania Judgment.
I've followed both closely and read reviews for them both... But I still can't decide.
Help?

Get deblob instead.
That wasn't an option^^.
I say Castlevania Judgment, but that's coming from someone who doesn't give a bleep about Sonic Wii, isn't much of a Sonic-fan anymore in general, and that is more of a fan of fighting games than 'platformers'. Plus, Castlevania molests Sonic in the eye.(meaning Castlevania, IMO, >>> Sonic)
My main problem with Sonic Wii was mostly the slowness of the menu's, and the annoying first 10 seconds of a song you get to hear everytime you're in those annoying menu's.. Plus, the controls really hurt my hands and didn't work factually and personally, so I'm really afraid of the next installment, I really don't know if all those things have been changed, and if they haven't, I personally really wouldn't get Sonic Unleashed.
I'm definitely getting Castlevania Judgment, though :3

Should be that game is awesome
Well typically, home console Sonic games suck ass. But this one could break the trend. I\'d go with Unleashed. But that\'s just me.
( Edited 19.11.2008 08:49 by TheStratMan )There's really no way to tell so far. Castlevania Judgement is a spin off and Konami never cared about Wii too much, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was nowhere near as good as the other Castlevanias.
Sonic Unleashed is out soon and reviews will be all over the place within a few days. In all probability it'll turn out crappy, but there's a chance it could be good.
Castlevania will last you longer because of the online mode but Sonic will offer you a great single player adventure which will probably last 12 hours. So for a 1 player game go for Sonic or for a multiplayer go for Castlevania.
That is hard to choose from. I\'d wait for reviews for me to decide but since you\'ve already read some, think about what type of game you like, a platformer, or a 3D fighter. I know what I\'d choose.

It\'s not just any platformer here, it\'s console-Sonic ;-
And I never play my fighting games VS. others because I usually beat the crap out of anyone in my immediate friend-circle and they don\'t want to play anymore after a few beatups, so I just play them by myself, and considering that I would still say Judgment.
Well, unless it\'s like Soul Calibur II, where if I didn\'t play each day I\'d lose the feel of the entire game. Don\'t really like that in a game ^^\'..
EDIT: Oh, and apparently, the Wii-version of Unleashed is missing around 1,75 level. Read the news and you\'ll get that^ statement.
( Edited 19.11.2008 16:32 by Faust the Destroyahr )Well I'd go for neither and instead choose the more casual option of Wii Fit or Brain Training. >=D
Multiplayer = Castlevania
Single Player = Sonic
I'm in the tight spot too, 'cause I usually go for single player games [no one plays with me] but Sonic games usually lack of lenght just when you're getting excited about how the story is unfolding.
As for Castlevania, I think the last time I played one was on the N64 [I'm not a follower of the series], but the internet multiplayer sounds cool though, and if Konami is changing the original recipe, it's worth a try...
For now, I would go for Sonic. I usually get to play the games before I buy them, so I think I'll have to wait and see...
Seriously, WHY does fighting=multiplayer in here? It kind of bugs me because I hardly play multiplayer, not even Smash Bros(Oh, yes I did.) I have more fun beating up the computer than beating up someone that's a sore loser.. ^^'..

Get which one that you will enjoy the most. If it is fast paced action then get Sonic Unleashed. But I would go for CV.
Get sonic unleashed it will prolly be better anyway. I mean I don't like castlevania but even if I did I would still get sonic unleashed XD
Castlevania Judgment, it sounds like a solid fighter
7.5
lol IGN. >:
IGN gave the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed a 7.2, but it depends on if you like the genre of each game like people have said.
If you have a 360 or PS3 it may be a good idea to get Sonic Unleashed on one of those over the Wii version, as chances are they'll be better. However if you only have a Wii and are a Sonic fan, then this isn't exactly a return to form, but I've heard the speed stages are finally mastered.
I will be getting Sonic on 360, there's no way I am getting it one Wii.
Why not? Yet more downright disregard for the perfectly decent WiiS2 version, especially since there are no proper opinions for the 360 version yet.
I'm going to wait until Sonic BK comes around since it's made for the Wii not to mention no werehog;-
Castlevania seems like an interesting take on the fighting genre with the zombies and other monsters that popup in the fights. Also Wi-Fi brings longevity.
so... I say as of now CJ is the better choice, IMO of course
Yeah wa

Well then it really depends on which genre you'd rather play. Castlevania seems like a perfectly decent fighting game, and Unleashed sounds like a decent 3D Sonic. I don't know if it's a Secret Rings beater though, but then again lots of people loved Secret Rings and lots of people just didn't get it.
Well, if you want the good version of Sonic Unleashed, go for Xbox 360/PS3 versions, the stages are longer, and sonic's speed is win!!!! <333
This sonic game made my heart skip 30 beats! LOL Sonic has been revived!

Horray! he\'s gone from horrednus and unplayable to slightly above average. Well done Sonic.
