Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Spoiler Discussion Thread

Well, thats 35 not counting Charizard/Squirtle/Ivysaur/Sheik/ZS Samus as seperate characters.

If you count them seperately, and include Wolf and WW Link, I think we have 39 characters! (correct me if my counting has screwed up somewhere. )

Also, ROB is such a random character, that it pretty much definately confirms the list SL posted to be completely true.

Thursday. Just till Thursday. Then the 40 roster will show up... Its Ok, melee will keep u sane before *gulps* europe release... its ok...

BTW, SL, u pwn at guessing characters in Brawl. Nice one!

I didn't guess those that roster was "leaked" a few weeks back, and people refused to believe it.

Apparantly the same thing happened with Melee, i.e. the roster was leaked and people didn't believe it, but it turned out to be true.

I admit there is SOME CHANCE of there being over 35 characters, but the character select screen looks like it's going to be positioned in such a way that confirms the 35 roster anyway.

There's still a possibility, but don't hold your breath or you'll suffocate.

I can't get over how/why people actually thought Leon could be in it! o.0;

I mean Megaman/Bomberman FTW duh Megaman would be more suited to Brawl than Leon ^^;.

Maybe in SSB4. Maybe Bomberman will make it into that one

Yeah, the only 3rd party character I'd want is Bomberman...I don't really want Snake...but ah well.

Oh god...don't start SSB4 speculation...I can barely cope with the Brawl speculation...

Heh, you may not have been around lately a few weeks back, a roster that is 100% identical to this one (even the layout on the character select screen) was "leaked". Noone believed it, but everything is true, all that remains now is for Wolf to be revealed, and I'm certain he will be within a few hours.

And there we would have it, our full roster.

I can go on. Reading the names of those passed away is a painful job ;-(

EDIT: Pfft... great line up... no more female characters... they completely ditched an original moveset... in favour of a character who's essentially a mix between Falco and Fox

Plus, Animal Crossing character should be on that list.

And Dr Mario was my main character on Melee...ah well, I'm sure I'll find a new niche among all these awesome new characters...

Wow, Think of how old we will all be....

My problem with this is that he should have had it as 16 or 18 starters, so there could be more secrets... and characters like Olimar shouldn't have been revealed on the Dojo, so they could have been more of a surprise.

The secret characters are compromised of nearly 100% veterans D:

In 6 years... I'll be 23/24 or something. I'll be what's called a "Mature gamer"

or I'll be deadbeat and living on the street somewhere because I didn't revise for my exams and played too much Smash Bros.

It's a vicious cycle.

Which it very well could be.

Don't see why they'd stop making a series that sells so damn well. And there's plenty for them to add to it. Loads of past characters not yet in Smash, plus all the new ones that will emerge over the next few years...
