So, how many people are good to have in the tourney? It looks like we have about 10 now. I'm not an expert when it comes to arranging this stuff though.

Only 8 per tornament, when I leave out the sheet the first 8 to PM are entered. Ill host it next saturday 12-6. The matches will be held simultaneously, then go to the quaterfinals then semi finals etc.

2 players per game so...1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256... etc.

Exactly, So unless 6 others join there will have to be limits to the amount of aplicants.

i'm confused, so do i have to PM you to confirm my entry? i've also decided i have no quabbles about the characters used, anybody wants to be crap and score by jumping over the keeper so be it, ill get wise and drag somebody behind the keeper as u jump, as i did yesterday was well proud. i'm looking forward to this now, i fancy my chances i must say, my record currently is won 135 lost 34 or something like that.

Well, Shig posted a list of the first 8 on the previous page. We need 6 more or a tourney will be hard to start. Either that or 2 people may have to miss out.

If everyone else has their heart set on it & we can't get 6 more people, I won't mind dropping off

I seriously don't mind not being in the tournament. I just expressed my interest in filling up my friend roster. I can drag a friend to C3 and get him to post up his friend number, and that'd be 1 more if it helped though?

Actually I asked him to join a long time ago when I first started on the Nintendo Machine, but I guess he was busy with Uni.

I'll try and get more real life friends to join C3/get Mario Strikers/get a Wii (lol) or whatever.

Did offer me a game the other day Robsy, it was that my connection was fucked and i couldn't accept.

why do we need more or less people, just do a league where we all play each other and the winner is the one with the highest points and if it comes to it. F/A goal difference. And is there a reason that my record keeps disappearing, its WELL ANNOYING ME NOW, its like the 4th time its happened, i had a mint record i'd won over 160 and lost around 34 to wake up this morning to won 0 - 0 lost, well aggitated me i'm over it now lol but seems like all the work was for nothing

Agahnim, that's because your scores reset everytime the season changes, which is every couple of days... Bit of a bugger, that sounds like a great record.

Whenever you want, but i saw your record it is stupidly good. Although i did beat the guy who was ranked 21 in the world, he was called Patrick.

i'm gutted the seasons changed my record absolutely sucks arse now im playing like manchester city. my total wii record is won over 200 lost 70 sumfing, not bad i spose. i'm still wanting a game, and a tourny to get sorted, anybody up for a game 2nite, ill be on around 5-7

Nunchuck is sort of broken, threw it against a wooden cabinet after getting knocked out the Striker Cup for the millionth time and now something keeps tingling it...

lol bad luck, i havn't actually seen nunchucks on sale anywhere, just the wiimotes, one thing i've noticed about the controls is they seem like they do break more easily than other controllers, every time i pick the nuncuk up it feels cheap and crap. like my friends mam haha ignore

I managed to redeem myself yesterday, played 3 series, won all of them with 6 wins and 2 losses altogether.

yeah that was me, i've added quite a few people, but only 5 have added me back, and everytime im on nobody else seems to be lol i checked the friend roster and i was ranked first on the basis of nobody else playing a single game online :s does anybody even play it coz at this rate doesn't seem like we'll be getting a trny/league set up.

Agahnim sure gave me a thrashing just earlier, I'm improving though, slowly but surely.

By the way, I think we should assissinate whoever invented Hammer Bros. Got a cool technique to stop them from hammer spamming though

I haven't played this since that game with Agahnim2, I'll have to get back into playing it again.

So whatever happened to this tournament? I was looking forward to it, but it just suddenly got pushed out the way and everyone seems to have forgotten about it. I doubt we could get something sorted out this week, as E3 is on and I'm not missing that, so what about this weekend?
