Oh dear lord.
Right, that's my little sister entertained for 10 minutes, anything a bit more substantial in the works?
Nice. That's what we like to hear.
Wow Mii beauty contests, just what we need, where is the BIG news;(. LS

lets hope MII FIGHTING with baseball bats
The Galaxy was big news. Why there was no "Wife Beats Miyamato" title was beyond me.
Miyamoto Mii looks awsome!!!
What's up with the Tennis things, & is anything known about the new Wii Channel?
Sod all is known about the new Wii Channel and the 'tennis thing' is what is now Wii Sports. Originally it was made up with Mario characters and then strange looking Miis.
That museum thing with the 45inch TV's looks awsome!!
Mr. T said:Why're they showing us that? Surely it's really old...

Or was it not revealed before? Showing some Beta screens
yeah i think they were Beta shots as you can see 4 Mario's on court!!
Mario Tennis Wii..... Nintendo confirm it.
They can't talk about anything new and interesting because they were buying back large quantities of stock from someone. I don't remember the details but I read about it last week (with the prediction that we wouldn't hear anything new at GDC because of it).
Stupid SEC rules!
Yup, they can't make any forward looking statements as they are trying to sell the stock on open market. In essence, Nintendo have the ability to hugely influence their own stock value (make it go up) by making positive announcements and promises. To avoid this from happening, they are not allowed to make any forward looking statement (ie: say ANYTHING new) until the shares are sold.
I think the Keynote was pretty good, they didn't reveal as much as Sony did but this isn't E3 so, yeah i was satisfied the the keynote!
This keynote was merely for developers sitting in the audience to get their ass up and for companies to risk some more instead of delivering just old ideas over and over again. This industry needs to be shaken awake quite a bit. So for this purpose it was pretty good.
Watched it and enjoyed it.
And then came Galaxy. I was crazed! It lookes so beautiful in motion, putting his speaking of 'forget the graphics a bit' to shame. It looks great, lots of effects with mirroring, bump- and normalmapping and so on. And it looks(!) as though it is fun to play. And there's a lot going on I think. there was one pill-formed planet where you have to do a whole classic-style Mario-level behind glass, saw that?
The keynote was very funny to watch and it gave me the warm fuzzy feeling every time I listen to Myiamoto-san or Iwata-san when they talk about great games and visions and actually having the success and cash-earning behind to prove it. Then I just think 'The world is good and fair and little fairies are real'...
ehem... you get the point, I think? I like them a lot. Nintendo I mean, not fairies...
