I've just read a source of this, apparently the Earthbound one would be a collection of the old games, which'd be very nice!

A compliation would be awesome, and would sell an absolute bucketload in Japan!
Hopefully a majority of these rumours have some truth, they would do wonders for Nintendo!

cool i want all the DQ stuff and a mana mmo would be amazing
I was hoping Wii would get a MMO I can't wait, That's awsome
Do you know, that a 'Mana'-MMO would be as awesome as an Final-Fantasy-MMO? This world has a wonderful and rich background!
And you guys: All getting at least 3 Dragon-Quest-Games, you hear me??? *eg*
Would you push me: the Dragon Quest, which came just recently for PS2 was part VIII, right?
And Earthbound - I gogglet it a bit but never heard a lot from this game. Does someone has a good source with screens, maybe soundtrack, story and more for me? That would be very nixe...
Laurelin, have you played SSBM? One of the characters, Ness, is from that series. Also, if you've got his trophy, read it a bit. Er, try going on Wikipedia as well. They are usually a bit more helpful for in depth stuff than Google.
There is also a lot of fan sites, its a populer cult game so there's plenty of info.
A mana mmorpg on the wii would be great, but that brings up the question, how would the Wii controller be used in an mmo, something similar to what we have seen at E3 with Zelda maybe?
I wonder what Square Enix sees as a success Slime Slime Mori sold 300k in that good? considering it is a dragon quest game and it is a spin off
Dragon Quest VIII is in my top 3 best RPGs of all time and if IX is anything like it then I'll be snapping it up on release. However, I'm not going to buy the other Dragon Quest games as, quite frankly, I'm not after a monster collecting game and Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime just doesn't interest me at all. Now, if they were to release some of the earlier DQ games...
Online Mana could be good, Red Faction was fun when it came out all those years ago, Batman is more than likely destined for nothing more than mediocrity and it's a shame that publishers aren't willing to risk quirky games in territories outside of Japan.
I do not believe any of this stuff. Especially the Square-Enix information. There is no way Square would place a Sales quota on Nintendo.
EGM needs to keep their rumors to themselves.
What if the Wii and DS dragon quests are crap and no one buys them?
You guys need better happy smilies... I swear... no smilie is happy enough to describe that the Dragon Quest series could possibly be permanently moved/copied to Nintendo....
Oh good god...
BUY THOSE GAMES PEOPLE!! I'm sure that Japan will love it, so as long as it does alright over here, we have nothing to worry about. Unless they decide to follow the trend by not releasing the DS & Wii Dragon Quest games over here.
MMO on Wii!! AWESOME!!
EDIT: Speaking of Final Fantasy MMO, I really hope it isn't a fortune to pay to play online, I hope it's free...

ooo plz let the DQIX be true plz plz!!
Slime Mori Mori has already done around 300,000 units in Japan, which far exceeded expectations...just like Children of Mana...
The DQM game is expected to do at least 500,000 and DQ at the launch of the Wii should be one of the strongest titles.
311,500 units for Slim Slim Mori
284,000 units fot CoM
Thought that CoM would have reached at least 500k
A MMO admitedly would be nice.

It did...

It would have done so easily, but the cock up at the DS Lite launch meant sales were stunted in the first week and the game barely recovered. It did ~4,000 units last week, which is not bad for how long it's been out. I can understand Square Enix checking with Nintendo about the supply of DS Lites around FFIII's launch!
Well, Dragon Quest: Monsters DS should do amazingly well, maybe even a million. The series did over 2,000,000 in Japan on the original Gameboy. The second game dropped to a little under a 2,000,000. Then the last one on the GBA did around 600,000-650,000. So far most DS games have done better than their GBA counterparts. So it is possible for that game to sell over a million, and trust me, Square Enix would be happy with that.
The Dragon Quest Swords game on the Wii could do fairly well. Since it is a launch game I expect it to do a fair bit better than Dragon Quest Yangus (PS2), which is another Dragon Quest spinoff. Maybe even 400,000 which would be fantastic. Dragon Quest Yangus did around 250,000 in early May this year.
Exactly, Dragon Quest Monsters is defintely a 750,000+ seller for the DS, especially if Rocket Slime managed its 300,000.
As for Mana - it was strange to see Dawn of Mana for the PS2, but considering the continued strong sales of Children of Mana on the DS, even before its Western release, I'd say SEx is strongly favouring Nintendo at the moment.
