You may remember a story while back about GTA coming to GC next year? Well this was posted in the Toronto Sun the same paper that first said SK were making MGS months ago:

In other news, Grand Theft Auto will be making its way to the Xbox and the GameCube. The ports are well under way and we should learn more about the next GTA for the PS2 as events unfold at E3.

I heard rumours about Rockstar remaking the first 2 GTA's for GC.

Not a perticually a great thing, I don't like the game, but it would be a good thing for the GameCube...

Hmm...it seems to good to be true, so my theory is that we'll get GTA1 & 2, then we'll get GTA3 when the PS2 gets GTA5, then we'll see GTA Vice City coming when PS2/3 gets GTA6. That's the only way it'll work. Punks.

Yeah, SONY have some sort of exclusivity clause that means that we won't see it for about 7 years...still....I don't really care Smilie Smilie

Sony only have the GTA contract for 4 years. So in Octobe mnext year, they are free to do as they feel.

We know that a GTA3: Add on story style (GTA Vice City) game is in the works. Supposidly based on Los Angelas. (sp)

So we could see GTA4 being multi format. Across PS3, XBox2, and the next Ninty Console.

But we won't see anything untill next E3 about GTA.

Anyway, we have True Crime this September. That should be a GTA beater!

Interesting stuff.... but I really don't see myself running out to buy GTA3 or Vice City (which I have on the PS2) again, just because they are coming to the GameCube.

I would only buy them if something new has been added/improved..... mainly as I couldn't be bothered to play the whole game from the beginning.... having to build my empire all over again.

Yeah, not many people who have a GameCube are going to buy it...tell a lie, they will, you can gaurantee it. The thing is image, just like someone wearing pink jelly shoes compared to someone wearing addidas trainers, the one with the cooler shoe is going to be more popular, replace shoes with games and my ramblings should make some sense... Smilie
