Nintendo Review | Famitsu Rates Metroid Prime Hunters Okay [news]

Knighty, I own Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and I have completed both. I too find them better, but they are also CONSOLE games, with more cart space, longer development cycles, and that helps to "spice" up the experience. You're comparing a DS game to a frigging GAMECUBE game! And the multiplayer(IMO)RULES. It's pretty diverse, and I find that the action is superb. If you just want to fuck about online, then don't play MPH. It IS a competitive game, it's an FPS! It's supposed to be competitive! And if you don't like this game, say "I don't like it", and don't say "it IS a bit crap", cuz then you are stating an opinion as if it was a fact

Actually I quite liked the singer player, at first it was really boring but once you start revisiting areas it gets more interesting and fights get more harder so does the level.

It's just a well made game, thats it, not saying it's better than Halo2 or anything it's just a pretty good hanheld FPS =S. People go on about Timesplitters 2, XIII being brilliant games but there never ass raped everytime there mentioned with HALO 2 IS BETTER!!11!!!1.

Should I buy this game? Everybody seems all hyped up about it. ^^

If you like some nice FPS action, and just a very nice game, pick it up And people aren't "hyped up" cuz they, and me as well, have already played it, and experienced for ourselves it's a very nice game

Well, the graphics are the best on DS, hands down, fucking impressive. & I love the FMV. But I never liked the MP2E multiplayer, heck I didn't really like the 1 player mode. MP1 had the real magic, it was the closest to a classic Metroid that the 3D series will ever get, Space Pirates, Metroids, Chozos, & proper suits for Samus, it really was a brilliant game, compared to these new Metroid Primes that hardly seem to have anything to do with the series, except Prime 2, which still had the Metroids (sort of...) & the Phazon. But that's it. What has Hunters got to do with anything? Zilch, not even a bloody Metroid in the entire game! No suit upgrades, c'mon, even Metroid II had suit upgrades!
