New MegaDrive game!!!

MegaDrive owning Sega fans, RPG nuts (wink wink nudge nudge 'Raz), anybody else with literacy skills that has mistakenly stumbled upon this, you've probably heard about this already, but for the benefit of those that haven't and those wishing to know more:

There's a new MegaDrive game coming out this year called Beggar Prince, the first since 1998. I just did an interview with the President of the developers for Gamer7 on it which you can read here (please use that forum to comment on the interview). This is the official website.

Buy it! Imagine if it snowballed and a market for new MD games was created! How freaking awesome would that be??

Strictly speaking it's not a new game, it was originaly released in Taiwan only in 1996. Super Fighter Team got the rights to it and have translated it, fixed all the bugs and are publishing it on brand new cartridges, printing full colour manuals and serving it all up in brand new MD boxes, what more could you ask for?

But seriously who is going to buy it! Barely anyone would have access to it and would not even contemplate buying it! It would be good for VC download tho

Going by this forum and the big world out there who still and quite rightly so love Sega then I'm sure a load of people would buy it. Would be great on the Download service too!

This game looks class, I dug out my megadrive a couple of months ago to play Dungeons and Dragons. I might invest in this too if I can get some spare cash.

'Tis cool and all, but there are so many older Mega Drive titles I haven't played that this doesn't warrant a 30 quid purchase, when I could get a whole bunch for the same price.

But...but *chin wobbles*, it's a NEW SEGA GAME. We need to support things like this.

I'd consider it if it was $20 (that'd be exspensive, but since it's new, I'd be willing to support it). But $46 is outrageous! Another $4 and I can buy a brand new GC game (plus a few dollars in tax, but whatever).
