Onis C3 obituary

Well, the somewhat inevitable seems to have happened. The Fuhrer, previously Oni-Ninja has been banned.

He offers goodbye [bum] love and kisses to all his "C3 Homies". he says that he will specificaly miss "frazz, blizz, superlink, Flynnie and all them lot".

You have to admit, he was a fantastic contributer to the forums, often spending entire days creating single posts! Obviously his Coarse humour was a bit too much a lot of the time, for a Nintendo forum.

Ah well, C3 will be a more boring place now, but at least a handfull of people won't be offended every week or so...

EDIT: BTW, I'm not criticising the decision to ban him

I really gave him a shite load of chances.

The mods were doing a great job at stopping him posting a load of offensive shite. He did have a good sense of humor, imo, but even after load of friendly (and not so friendly) warnings, he still took it one step further and it became far too much to allow on a Nintendo forum, or most for that matter.

I think he's a decent guy, but why he took his humour over the top I don't know. I wouldn't mind him back, as long as he didn't go over the top with his jokes.

Meh. Won't miss his arrogant sega fanboyism.

I'.ve been drinking..so most of this is muchos to tke in. Oni - gones!?? For a start, also - I feel a bit guilty...previously me and blizz were the 'monkeys' on the forums, bending the rules an such, but wit oni, he did take it further..an tbh - I've been tryin to match that, sily as ti seems

Dammit Oni, the Sega uprising on C3 will die out now. Unless R E L B M U R G ....... will keep it going.

As far as Sega love goes on this forum as long as myself and Mike are staff then it'll never die.

As for Oni... well... I made my thoughts clear a number of times. Let's leave it at that.

That said, and despite the fact we sometimes acted like twats together, it's a shame he became so controversial. Some good comments / opinions when he wasn't acting up, an ace bloke at times.

As far as Sega love goes on this forum as long as myself and Mike are staff then it'll never die.

Lol, probably. I think most of us started off Sega, fell in love with Nintendo (no, not Barry ) and then really begun to mix and match the two.

Well with my I started with Sega then it bloomin died on me! Nintendo is like a foster family... except with more games.

Indeed, I was always 50/50 myself, probably a bigger Sega fan with the Master System then things levelled out with SNES / MegaDrive onwards.

Can you imagine Cubed3 if this was 10+ years ago, it'd be a joint Nintendo / Sega site ... *dies*

It's a shame to see him banned. As has been said, he did have some very controversial posts, and I disagreed with him on a fair few occasions, but I also agreed with him a few times as well. Funny guy, shame some of the jokes just went a bit too far.

It was always more 80/20 more to Nintendo for me. I was more of a Sonic fan boy rather than a Sega one. But i do have respect for Sega, and would play a lot of Sega games, namely the Virtua series etc etc
