But then again, I don't want it to be called Revolution either. To many commercials use that ("Try our revoultionary cat litter", or "It the revolution is shaving" or something like that).
Again I can't see any connection between Bloomerang and this logo, they are (imo) a world apart.
As for the name, I think it's a great move. I couldn't agree more about the whoring of the word by adverts (happens here; "Revolutionary Moose Foundation", wtf is so revolutionary about foundation in moose form) but at the same time it targets two of the most important markets.
1. Hardcore gamers that know and associate the name, they are used to it and know it'll be revolutionary.
2. The mainstream sheep, there is a reason adverts use the word - people are thick. They get told something is revolutionary and buy it, no questions asked. Think about it they see nearly identical consoles (PS & XBOX) and one called the Revolution, they might not know a gaming revolution is you punched them in the face with one but all the same they'll likely buy the "Revolutionary" product instead.
Personally I love the name, and if Nintendo changed it I'll be a little gutted.
