Having just read an article on ign apparently Nintendo are remaking two more NES classics but this time for the DS. The two games are Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt. Both of these games appeared in Wario Ware Touched as micro games.

Instead of having a light gun to shoot your taget you tap the screen.
As a bonus you'll get a special light gun stylus packaged in each copy.

Because of the tone of the article I have a feeling this could some sort of April fools joke, but the idea is good and I can see Nintendo doing this. The light gun Stylus looks awesome.

Once in a lifetime.

That gun looks sweet. Smilie

I played duck hunt but not the other one.

You found the word nipple! And you love touching them!

yeah im thinking this is an april fools joke lol. But the light gun stylus look cool Smilie

It's an obvious April Fools. Just look at the apparent quote from the ninty rep:

"We ripped off...er, I mean, we were inspired by the inclusion of the Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt mini-games on Wario Ware Touched, so we thought, what the hell. It's not like these games cost us anything to develop. Hey, it's almost like we should be paying you to play them they're so cheap to us."

Man you guys got fooled good. Smilie

It was really given away by the fact that light gun looks shit, and how that little press release took the piss a bit. But I suppose Nintendo could have just felt brutally honest to day.

Not.

All these, Nintendo themed, April Fools Jokes are probably going to be exploited.

Once in a lifetime.

Yeah, that was a way a joke. There is no way that peice of crap stylus would be able to fit back there anyway! Smilie

lol, i actually bouhgt it for a minute.

What was hogan's alley about, anyway?

Id imagine you just shot guys who popped out...in an alley.....Hogans Alley.

The light gun stylus looks amazing, its such a shame, this got my hopes up, at first I was pissed at more blatant cashing in and then I saw the stylus and thought fair enough.

Ah well.

i worked out it was a fake after seeing that stylus. I mean, does that look comfortable to you!?

You would hold it like a lightgun Smilie

I hate april fool's day.

Yes, but how accurate would it be if you held it like a gun? Not very I'm guessing!

It could always fire little foam pellets at the screen Smilie

A full duck hunt game would be SO good. It would keep me occupied for hours.

Yeah the stylus was a dead give away. I think it looks pretty cool though...if they did up Duck Hunt to 2005 standards, it might be a good game to release on the lower tier price range.

Wow, that was soooooo obviosly an april fools.

Still woulda been neat if they had them both on the same cart or something. And then get rid of the stylus.

Btw, Hogan's Alley was awesome!! Guys would pop up and you'd have to shoot 'em. I guess you guessed that already though...
It was one of the best NES games out there^_^
