Race Driver returns to DS

The popular custom racer returns to the circuit with another outing on the ds in Race Driver: GRID.

Grid is the follow-up to Create and Race from Firebrand Games, offering new tracks, vehicles and hopefully the same quality that's made the original such a hit.

The first game was fantastic (review here), and if it's Firebrand behind this again (which I presume it is, given they listed Race Driver 2 on their website last year) then this will be amazing as well.

Sadly the first one was overlooked at retail, but hopefully this time more people will pay attention to it!

It's looking quite nice. I bought the first one and thought it was great, but the scenery was a bit bland. So it's nice to see their putting a little more effort into that this time.

And when I see this tracks, which look okay, I always think 'why aren't there great racers on Wii?' Nitrobike's coming, I hope more follow. I like to play them on the big screen. Like most of DS's games.
