Nintendo Wii Media | Smash Update: Donkey Kong Theme

The second of a two part update on the Official Smash Bros. Brawl website reveals an interesting take on the Donkey Kong theme by classic composer Hirokazu Tanaka.

He is the mainstay who has built Nintendo sound since the days of Game & Watch: Hirokazu Tanaka.

He wasn't included on the list of musicians until now, but he secretly joined the fray!

And then there's this arrangement of the original Donkey Kong theme. It has gone in the direction of the unexpected, becoming completely different from the work of the other musicians.

You've got to hear it!

I quite like it aswell, sounds good!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Erm interesting... not really sure whether or not I like it, I suppose when I hear it with the stage as well I might like it better.

This is probably on that climbing up Donkey Kong stage. I think it fits, and I bet the full version will have some cool parts.
