INSiGHT: NEO Magazine: Issue 185 (Review)

For the newest issue of NEO Magazine, there is the revival of Cardcaptor Sakura adorning the primary front page and headlining the key feature of the month; plus the return of many high profile anime shows, like Sailor Moon and Cowboy Bebop, with a new modern day look. For the reverse side, there is an article on the newly released Jump Force, the 3D fighter that combines many of Japan's biggest manga and anime heroes all in one place.

Main features this month include a look into the tradition of Naoi-shinji or 'Naked Festival,' an event in the Japanese village of Konomiya where residents march through the streets garbed only in loincloths in respect of historic events. Moving from barely any clothing to full body-wear, with Kimono Creative, there is an interview with the owner of 'Uber Dandy Kimono,' looking at her business beginnings and interests.

Lots of cosplay displays this month, with the main example being of a couple and their love for the My Hero Academia styles, with a side glance at Internet sensation, Bowsette, and a Fire Emblem Awakening character. Gaming is represented this issue with a look at Steins; Gate Elite, a visual novel game released on both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with exclusive features for both, and an interview with the producer of the aforementioned Jump Force, out now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
