Reggie: Trust Us on Metroid Prime: Federation Force on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime has responded to negative feedback surrounding Metroid Prime: Federation Force

The game, revealed during E3 this year, has had a barrage of complaints and even a petition to stop it existing. Fils-Aime acknowledge the response in an interview with BuzzFeed, admitting that "there's no sugar coating it."

However, he is urging fans to "trust us" and how those who weren't able to "get their hands on the game may be at a bit of a competitive disadvantage."

Recalling feedback from the press who attended E3, "they've come across really pleased," he admitted.

Do you think Metroid Prime: Federation Force is just one of those games that need to be tried?

Probably my most anticipated game coming out of E3.

EDIT: Actually probably 2nd to Super Mario Maker

When someone tells you to "trust them" it usually causes the opposite effect. Whenever or not the press is pleased does not soothe my main concern: that this will end up a generic FPS.

Anyway, the ball mini game looks fun enough to justify me trying it out... x3

The difference between illusion and reality is vague to the one who suffers from the former and questionable for the one suffering form the later.

"Come on, you trusted us with Other M, and that turned out great, right guys?
...Guys?"
