Become the First Person Star in Guitar Hero Live

Let the shredding begin as Activision Blizzard has announced a new entry in the Guitar Hero series.

The once popular rhythm game returns to the living room after a brief hiatus as Guitar Hero Live, to be available on multiple platforms - including Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U and mobile devices.

The studio behind the project, FreeStyleGames, are pitching the game as a live-action experience, where players step into the shoes of lead guitarist in first-person. Crowds will react according to how well the band is playing, dynamically in real-time.

Guitar Hero Live also introduces GHTV, a 24-hour mode that lets fans play through a continually updated collection of official music videos.
