Nintendo Reveals a Japanese Ad for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

With the release of the portable brawler drawing near in Japan, Nintendo starts advertising their new piece of software on TV in the Land of the Rising Sun, reaching out, it seems, to players in a wide range of age groups!

The short ad is, as anyone could witness, as Japanese and quirky as could be, in line with what Nintendo has been known to do in terms of commercial push in its home turf.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS will release in Japan on September 13th 2014 at a recommended retail price of 5200 yen (£30.13 / €37.72 / $49.58) and is coming to both Europe and North America on October 3rd, with our friends from the Land Down Under set to get the game on their store shelves only one day later.

Are you picking up the game at launch? Have you already witnessed ads for the game on TV yet in your own country?
