This week's issue of Famitsu magazine announced a new entry in the Samurai Warriors Chronicle series for Nintendo 3DS.

The magazine, which also announced New Etrian Odyssey 2: Knight of Fafnir this week, confirmed Samurai Warriors Chronicle 3 for Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita for release later this year in Japan.

The report details new gameplay features, including the "Secret Musou" and "Godspeed Action" moves from Samurai Warriors 4, in addition to 50 military commanders from the game. Famitsu also highlighted that Samurai Warriors Chronicle 3 will feature a wealth of character customisation.
