Koei Tecmo to Absorb Japanese Studio Gust

Developer Gust will be full absorbed by parent company Koei Tecmo, the group announced this week.

Best known as the developer of the Atelier series, the Japanese developer was initially acquired by Koei Tecmo at the end of 2011, allowed to perform as its own entity. Several years later, parent company Koei Tecmo has decided to form a "smoother" business structure by full merging with Gust.

Gust will now be named "Gust Nagano Development Group" from 1st October.
