New Tales of the World Announced for 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The popular Tales series returns to Nintendo platforms with a new strategy RPG announced for 3DS this week.

Tales of the World: Reve Unitia was shown in Japanese magazine Jump, described as a new RPG that's set in the same universe as the mobile game Tales of the World: Tactics Union - Revaria, a world created by dreams.

Fans of the Tales franchise can rest easy - there'll be a set of familiar faces from the numerous entries including Asbel Lhant (Tales of Graces), Yuri Lowell (Tales of Vesperia), Jade Curtis (Tales of the Abyss), Meredy (Tales of Eternia), Natalia L.K. Lanvaldear (Tales of the Abyss) and, of course, fan-favourite Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia). There'll also be two additional characters joining the roster, the timid Terun and strong lad Nahato.

What do you think of the Tales of the World: Reve Unitia concept?

Mmmh nothin to get excited about when you know that these games rarely come out of Japan :/. And seeing as the style of game seems to not be your typical Tales of either, but rather like a tactical spin off, I wouldn't expect it hitting our shores any time soon.

Yeah I'd rather have the Tales of Symphonia collection on Wii U instead of it being a ps exclusive...such a waste not for it to be on Nintendo again considering the GameCube gem is so cherished.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
