Monster Hunter 4 Nintendo Direct 3DS Trailer + Release Date on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo aired a new trailer for Monster Hunter 4 during the Japan-only Nintendo Direct broadcast.

The new presentation delved deeper into the much anticipated Monster Hunter experience, bringing all new worlds and beasts to Nintendo's 3D portable this September.

In the latest snippet, players are introduced to a devious new insect critter known as Alceltas within the Frozen Sea area, plus Sharks with legs. Yes, legs, known as Squagills. Alongside exploring the usual Monster Hunter gameplay features, the trailer culminates in a sun blurred glimpse of what appears to be a new creature to encounter.

Finally, a release date was set - for Japan - as 14th September, in addition to two stunning new Nintendo 3DS XL consoles.
