New Pikmin 3 Wii U Details and Euro Release Date

Nintendo Europe have set a release date for the upcoming Pikmin 3, out earlier than North America.

The forthcoming game will see players taking on three characters this time round - newcomers Alph, Brittany and Charlie - as the trio arrive on the planet to find a new food source. You'll be using Pikmin to scavenge for fruit and extract your newfound nourishment into juice.

Each of the three characters can perform their own duties with a group of Pikmin for multi-tasking and speeding up the daily grind. Each day will also be replayable for those who want to tackle the adventure again and try something different a second time round.

Pikmin 3 is due August 4th in North America and July 26th in Europe.
