Nintendo have started to air promotional ads for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon on the 3DS in Japan.

The first advert shows a pair of siblings trying out the new game, a circular AR portal is set and off the children go into the wonderful new world of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon on the 3DS. Anything circular - from a toilet bowl to a mug, CD to a clock, can be captured on the 3DS camera to spawn "Magnagates", portals, to new random dungeons.

Legendary critters Kyurem, Lugia and Ho-Oh make a return in the main storyline, and parts of these are explored in two additional videos featuring voiced Pokémon and a blend of sublime hand-drawn and CG artwork.
