New Marvelous Horror Title Coming to Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The marvellous people at Marvelous Entertainment are bringing a new survival horror title to Nintendo Wii in Japan. "Ikenie no Yoru", which translates in English as "Night of the Sacrifice", is a horror adventure game that follows the exploits of five college students who have visited a place called Tsukuyomi Ravine, an area that once held the custom of offering sacrifices to the gods.

According to the Famitsu ad, players use the Wii Remote as a flash-light to explore a mansion and its surroundings. The game will host two players and there's also some kind of Wii Balance Board support.

wow there's a lot of horror games out there, especially for the Wii. Like that grudge game (I was about to get it, but then I saw mushroom men... -_- which wasn't a good buy).

Maybe i'll check this game out and get it for my sis or my GF.

It's a shame that no one, ever publish that game Winter.

When all is bad don't look for a easy way out. Because you wont know what to do once your out

That reminds me, whatever the hell happened to Sadness?

Edit: Well bugger me, it was officially canceled. I thought that might have been the case, but never read anything official that it had been scrapped. Shame really.

Also, the composer released his music that he'd made for the game: click.

^^^ Yeah they announced Sadness far too early when it was still in early planning stages. Sadly, the project was too big for them and, without a publisher, they simply couldn't get much done. Smilie

This game looks really good. I wonder how the balance board will be used? If any good, I hope it get's a Euro release. Could do with a game to use with my Balance Board that isn't Wii Fit. Smilie

Still need to get The Calling and Ju-On. They're only $20 each so why not?

I really hope this one gets translated & comes to the states & UK. Missing Fatal Frame 4 on the Wii made me a saaaad panda....T_T

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
