Mega Man 10 out on WiiWare, DLC to Follow on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

This week's Nintendo download line-up in the US is headlined by Capcom's highly anticipated second retro Mega Man.

The tenth entry in the mainline Mega Man series, like 9, makes a return to using classic sprites and pinpoint platforming as a major requirement to play. Whilst the ability to use Proto Man is included in the initial download, fans can eventually purchase various additions to expand the game.

  • DLC Character: Bass (April 5th, 200 Points)
  • Special stage (April 5th, 300 Points)
  • Endless Attack Mode (April 26th, 300 Points)
  • Additional stages (April 26th, 100 Points each)
  • Alongside Mega Man, the full Nintendo Download (US) line-up:

    WiiWare

  • Mega Man 10 (Capcom, 1000 Points)
  • Dart Rage (JV Games, 600 Points)
  • Happy Hammerin’ (Gamebridge, 500 Points)
  • DSiWare

  • Let’s Golf (Gameloft, 800 Points)
  • Flips: Terror in Cubicle Four (EA, 500 Points)
  • Globulos Party (GlobZ, 500 Points)

I was expecting Bass playable to begin with, oh well. Doubt I'll be getting this straight away but I'll certainly be purchasing it soon after release.

Nice, DLC sounds pretty neat too!Smilie

We're supposed to get THREE extra stages PLUS a new endless mode instead of 1 stage and endless mode in MM9. Price is right. Again, those new to gaming will bitch about it being too expensive but since they didn't have to buy MM1-5 on the NES at $50 each... well, they get no vote.

How does DLC work? Do you download it in game or do u need to get the whole game again?

You get the main game and purchase the DLC in a store In-Game. Still need to have Nintendo Points in your account, but other than that it's all in the main download.

I'll be getting most of the DLC. (I don't like Bass)
