Sandy - I've passed your Skype name to Taco, who's also on my Skype. He's in the US, so bit of a time difference, but hopefully you can sort a time out. I'd say don't worry if you have to arrange a later date - as long as people agree to fight each other, we don't need to be strict on the 3-day rule. People have jobs, college, etc, so it's understandable.

André - I see no harm in people starting their matches whichever round they're in. Get the ball rolling!

I have to wait for Sue and Shanker to fight lol.

We can definitely use the C3 Chatroom to better speak to each other when organising our match-ups etc, if people don't wanna use Skype or something.

2-0 or 2-1?

2-0 for me, yeah. Forgot to save a replay of the first match but it's not a big deal anyway.

Nah, it's so easy to forget to save them - do it in DOA, even when we plan to. Maybe Ian saved it? No matter anyway.

I'll edit the bracket in a mo.

Also, because I've actually set the rounds to Best of 3, I can actually enter the winners in order by match. If you hover over the result, you can see it says 1-0, 1-0 to SL.

So, say Ian had won the second match, I could have made it so that it would end up reading 1-0, 0-1, 1-0 to SL.

I hadn't actually done that before, but it's just something extra to give more detailed results.

If everyone remembers, try to make a note of the order of who wins the matches in your rounds. Doesn't matter if not really, but can do no harm.

Aw man! Me and JB had an intense match and JB won!

Results were:

Match 1 : Marzy
Match 2: JB
Match 3: JB

I forgot to save the replay for the second match, but got the first and third.

Just an update: Andre and I haven't battled yet (will likely be a small delay with our battle), but we are in touch and planning it.

That was freaking crazy - got custard creamfaced in the first round, was tense in second and third! Marzy is quick on the toes!

Btw - sorry - only got third match on replay!

Need to stress to people to make sure you remember the rules when setting up the matches.

I asked Taco last night if he remembered them, and he said he didn't know there was any, despite me saying so lol. He also didn't know you you could do Omega stages or what they were. So I'd recommend you host the matches, Sandy lol - just in case.

Hope everyone else is remembering the rules!

- 3-stock
- No items
- Omega only (both players choose Random)
- No custom moves/equipment
- Any character allowed, except Miis
- Best of 3 matches (first to 2 wins)

Hmm, if there are no objections from people, I think I could throw you randomly into either mine or David's group?

It wouldn't affect the rest of the bracket in any way, but I might need to manually recreate it and arrange everything correctly (which is no trouble for me).

Since we're still in the very early stages, it's not going to affect anything.

I overlooked things and thought I could throw you in, but it's actually only possible now if I think someone drops out.

I'm messing around with a copy of the bracket, trying things out, but if I simply add you to the list, the bracket forces a Round 1 match between you and Snowtwo, which determines who would play SirLink in Round 2... but Snowtwo has already played his match with SirLink anyway, so it's not possible to do now.

I can't manually alter where to put you in Round 1 - it always forces a Round 1 match to determine who would fight SL.

I'm still messing around, but I think the only way you could jump in now is if someone dropped out, unfortunately.

Hearing back from people, the only ones I don't know have tried to set up their match yet are Mush & Insanoflex.

Lewis & Link2thefuture is on hold till Lewis gets his Wii U back from repair.

Otherwise, everyone else has been in touch as far as I know, so it's difficult to see where you can get in, unless one of the above four drop out (or indeed anyone that has yet to play their match...).

The only other possible way would be -- and it's a BIG ask -- is if we reset Snowtwo & SirLink's match, which means you (L) and Snowtwo would then fight each other in R1 to determine who plays SirLink in R2. This could indeed mean a repeat of Snowtwo vs SL in R2, or it could mean a different scenario if you beat Snowtwo in R1. At the same time, SirLink risks losing in R2, so I don't know if he would be up for risking a replay of R2 again.

So, the options are:

1. Someone drops out and you replace them.
2. SirLink and Snowtwo agree to reset that match, and you fight Snowtwo in R1 to determine who plays SirLink in R2.

Option 2 is really only up to SirLink (more so because he won R2 and risks his place in R3), but also Snowtwo, because he risks going into Losers Round 1 over LR2.

Sorry for the long post, but this is the only way I can see you getting in. I would love to throw you straight in, but it rests upon the decision of other people...
