Mario looks a bit too plastic like to my liking but looks promising enough. The music should be redone with an orchestra, not necessarily a big one, but a jazz ensemble remaking the soundtrack in the style of Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Whomp Fortress for example, would be great.

Yeah, I don't understand the over-shininess of Mario's clothes. Looks like he's greased up for no reason, only looking to show off the effects of the engine. Pointless and ugly. Use it if he gets out of water or something, but not permanently. No disputing the effort, though; looks good.

The way Mario's feet move dead quickly when his run animation begins from standing is always so silly lol.
