For about 10mins, the PSP looked quite promising Smilie

Old news, all been discussed before.

best just gloss over it then,... and maybe we can all forget it when we go to buy one.

Note to self: Take extra $45 on day of PSP purchase for extra battery, ya know for them extra special 4 hour excursions.

Well 1&2 are on the GBA and, DS is going to have Crystal chronicles! Smilie

The stupid thing is that Sony will still put "7 hour" battery life on their boxes, and the uninformed will buy it. Nintendo needs to be agressive here. Why don't they make an ad actually SAYING that?

III is on the DS (awsome FF game) but its not utalising hardly any of the ds'S power... Shame as teh battle menu's could be used with the touch screen. As for CC I dont really wet along to well with that game, if the PSP shows a good FF I will get it for that reason.
I still prefer the DS to PSP but I look for the good RPG's which i will have to play on charge seein g as the battery life is poor

I was not aware of this specifically; though I would like the public to have this knowledge, I don't want Nintendo flinging mud at Sony...

In a way, his estimates that the PSPs lower battery consumption will be the result of better software integration rather than new batterries are pretty good. Instead of having a high energy consuming device, it becomes a device more efficient at handling the power it already has. This means that people who bought the system at the launch wont suffer. But it was still a mistake to use spinning discs. I think N is doing one thing right when they continue to use cartridges for their handelds--they don't consume as much energy. Small, 128mb, inexpensive ones to boot!

You mean like, N doing a commercial something in the line of: Our product will actually last for a good seven hours, unlike some others...

I think throwing dirt at another comp. is silly, it just shows that somebody is feeling left behind (N).
