It's that time of year again! What all are you guys loading up on?

So far for me:

Tomb Raider Collection
- Whole thing, including the new one, for ~$17? Count me in!

System Shock 2
- at $2.50, a real no brainer

Walking Dead Collection
- Actually already have these on iOS, but I wanted the experience on the big screen

Hopefully I'll actually get around to playing these; there's something awfully intoxicating about filling your virtual library on the cheap!

I'm trying to resist buying very much this year. I was a glutton last year and my backlog is absolutely huge. I, uh, kind of bought games without having a proper gaming computer. I figured I would get one eventually. I finally got a gaming PC running last week, so I'm just now chipping away at my backlog.

However, I just saw Monaco as one of the options for the Community Choice vote. If that goes on sale, I'll break and have to get it.

I've not even logged into Steam since it started. I don't want to buy anymore games, my backlog is too big. ;_;

Just got Payday the Heist, will install later! Wanted to play this for a while now actually.

Been avoiding it as I want to move away from Steam in general. I did get Jet Set Radio though, which is hurting my fingers. I need a better controller for my PC...

Payday is pretty awesome. You should probably get the Wolfpack DLC as well if you haven't already, though it might be worth waiting for the last day of the sale when everything that's been on a daily sale will get a heavier discount again. Adds another class and 2 new heists.

Other stuff people may be interested in...

Overlord for 87p

Super Hexagon for 67p

Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP for £1.84, if you are a fool at that didn't get it from a humble bundle. Great music and atmosphere which is a bit of an adventure game.

I'm not proud of myself....

Geez, your list is insane, Echoes. Do you have a big backlog of unfinished games on top of that? o.O

I bought a few games I was thinking about getting for a while but nothing more.

- Borderlands GOTY Edition
- Portal 1 & 2
- Torchlight II (and gifted a copy to Mush)

The fact that my PayPal account doesn't have a card bound to it and only has whatever money I transferred on there (which takes 2-3 days) makes for a nice protection against Steam sales and other random purchases. I just barely had enough left for the games listed above.

I'll trade you your Steam account for a vintage chargi'n targe. Maybe an unusual?

C'mon, you know want to.

Echoes you whore. Smilie

I also added Mass Effect 1 & 2 last night. Package was on sale for $20 - not a stupendous deal, but better than the norm, and I've always wanted to play Mass Effect 1 on PC (played the whole series through on 360). I've heard it's significantly less glitchy/runs better.

oh and....

  • Civilisation V Gold Edition

Smilie

I do have a bit of a backlog already, but mainly indie games which I like to support and I'll get and play, if they're good I'll complete, other than that they'll offer a few hours of fun.
I bought a wider variety this time as I'm trying to broaden my horizons in what I play. I've really enjoyed what I've played so far (9 hours into Torchlight 2 already...). I get less time to play stuff, but it doesn't mean that I can't at least have games there for when I do play.

And anyway, we're hitting a dry spell before new consoles so I've got stuff to play for ages now.

And heck...If you've got the cash, why not.

Echoes, I'm proud of you Smilie

I haven't bought anything this year because I've just been broke, but last year my list was like that. The Christmas sale was like that, too. Smilie

Steam's having a sale on DarkSiders 1 + 2. Should I buy them both for the combined price of only €15? Or actually, my question is should I buy the first one at all because I'm pretty much set on buying the second one for sure?

EDIT: Meh, bought 'em both. Yay.
