Hello everyone. I ran I to this website looking around google. I'm glad to have joined, also though, I am transferring from a 360 gamer to a wii u gamer and will be buying it tomorrow. I'm pretty excited!!!

I'm buying Mass Effect 3, NSMBU and Skyward Sword as my first purchases. With the console I'm also getting the pro controller and wii remote plus with nun chucku.

Welcome to Cubed3! Sounds like you've picked out some solid game there - enjoy. Smilie

I bought it!

A new console is always exciting!

I don't have a WiiU yet, but I've got a Wii (just don't have as much free time or spare money to play new games right now). If you don't have a Wii already, be sure to go through the Wii library. Most Wii games should be fairly cheap (especially used), and a good game is a good game forever. Since the WiiU can play Wii games, this might be a good way to get some great games on the cheap. There are some real gems if you know where to look.

Okami is one of my favorite games I've ever played. Gameplay wise, it gets compared to Zelda quite a bit, and it's sooo pretty. If you've got a few minutes, here's a fair review of the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVf2rMILU0M

Sin and Punishment is an old school, arcade style shooter. It's difficult and definitely feels "Japanesey," so it's not to everyone's taste. But I see it cheap a lot and it's wonderful if you're into those kinds of games.

Super Mario Galaxy is of course amazing. When I was playing it, I distinctly remember thinking that it was the most fun I've had with a video game in a while. There's also Galaxy 2 to look at.

Rayman: Origins is a 2D platformer that's on the Wii. The sequel, Rayman: Legends is a WiiU game and is supposed to be really top notch, too.

If you need advice on what to buy, don't hesitate to ask. What kind of games are you into Smilie?

Thanks for the recommendations. I don't own a wii so that will come in handy.

I like western and japanese rpgs a lot, i like tactical rpgs too. I'm a sucker for anything Zelda. The exploration style of gameplay of metroid or symphony of the night castlevanias I like a lot as well.

I also have my wife who loves animal crossing, mario and nintendo land. Recommend away please. :-Smilie

Ah yes, late buyers have it hard with certain Wii gems, that's for sure. I have the same problem with the Kirby games at the moment Smilie.

Its a shame too because I want both of those games.
