get rid of the ghosts....

Are you drunk?

I don't really have the time to play it, nor do I see the point in it...but it seems to have an almost art-like charm; gentle and refreshing since other games seem to be all about 'RACE, KILL, SHOOT, RESCUE THE PRINCESS!! etc'.

I do like the AC diary in the CUBE magazine though Smilie

I read the review, and won't be buying the game due to lack of funds mainly.

oohhhhhhhhhh good for you

im defantly gettin it no matter what

get rid of the ghosts....

You should all get it - you won't all like it - but you should get it because if you let it it *can* take over your life and its one of the most unique games ever that you just have to see.

Just don't take it too seriously, play it along-side your other games maybe an hour a day - and it'll become a huge part of your life. And when you finally give up on it after about a year you'll certainly miss it - but lucky for you who waited for the PAL release, Animal Crossing DS will be out by then. As for me, I had to go and start it again because the gap it left in my life was so huge I couldn't stand it...

Play along side another game, good idea, WWE DOR and AC, good combination for me!

Not *at the same time* if thats what you were thinking - I mean, play one then the other. You can't fit 2 disks in 1 GameCube...

But i have 2 gamecubes. That makes me a bigger nintendo fan than you.

Actually, you CAN get two discs into the GC at the same time. I tried it, it worked, it nearly broke, and here I am Smilie

I've had the game for about a year now and I still enjoy playing it!

And if anyone wants information about AC and stuff feel free to contact me

I'd go with what Beam said, play it an hour a day.

Restrict yourself and you will realy enjoy it, rush it and it becomes very monotonous, and you end up wanting to put the boot into every person in your town. Smilie

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Violence. The word and the act. While violence cloaks itself in a plethora of disguises, its favourite mantle still remains - sex. Violence devours all it touches, its voracious appetite rarely fulfilled. Yet violence doesn't only destroy. It creates and moulds as well. Let's examine closely then, this dangerously evil creation, this new breed encased and contained within the supple skin of woman. The softness is there, the unmistakeable smell of female. The surface shiny and silken. The body yielding yet wanton. But a word of caution: handle with care and don't drop your guard. This rapacious new breed prowls both alone and in packs. Operating at any level, at any time, anywhere and with anybody. Who are they? One might be your secretary, your doctor's receptionist, or a dancer in a go-go club.

I've pre-ordered it. I read the review in NOM and it has whet my appetite. I am starting to regret pre-ordering it though as I have just ordered Freeloader and I am lead to believe it might be cheaper for me to buy the US version.

US games are always cheaper. But with Animal Crossing I think its best to get the UK version now - it'll be localised and you won't have the american public holidays - and the lack of e-reader will be compensated for. Worth paying a few extra

Lived to tell the tale I see! Smilie

My only one problem with AC is, I will either miss something due to not having enough time to play it everday, or just over do it at first and grow tired of the same things happening over...and over.

The game expects that you will miss half of the event by not being able to play it - so if you miss something just get it next time. I think its quite acceptable in the first couple of weeks to play it for long periods of time - but then after that just cut it back to less than an hour a day - and not every day, and it works out fine. Even if all you do in a day is just walk around and say hi to everyone and find out what events are on - thats enough.

Its an absolute disgrace that Animal Crossing has taken so long to arrive in the UK.

Anyway, I've had the game for years now and I literally must have played it at least once a week for almost a WHOLE year. It takes over your life.
