I havn't played it in awhile since it gets boring after about a year and a bit. But I still go on occasionally, mostly just to play the nes games, maybe pick a few weeds and stuff, make sure the characters still remember me (which they usually don't).

Start it again. Thats what I just did - gave up after 8 months and just after reading the NOM review it made me want to start it again - so I did - and its *almost* as fun the 2nd time.

I found it was better when I restarted it as well.

I'm good for stuff at the moment I think, I got my last fruit (apple) today. I found another orange tree I forgot I'd planted, so here's the code. It should work.

I have AC, a friend from US sent me a copy.

But I haven't played it in awhile, so I'll probably just hang on and wait for the DS version that I pre-ordered. Hopefuly the DS version able to trade with the Gamecube version.

Im not getting this game either Karn.

Much the same reasons as you made. So many good games AND im gonna be importing the DS, so fuck it.

Also I have seen how nasty the game is if you leave it for any amount of time, your town is SO full of weeds and yuor residents are SUCH assholes you almost dont feel the point of playing.

Its the kinda game you need to devote time too, its a curse more than anything though if you have any sort of life.

I know this because my mate lent me his imported one and freeloader for a month after he got pissed with it after returning from a 2 week holiday only to find all of thee above.

I would rather play a game a lot because I cant tear myself away (donkey Konga) than because i have to to enjoy it.

I feel the same way too about the Gamecube version. But I've decided to order a DS copy. It is much better suited to a portable where you can visit the town when-ever and where-ever. Also using the touch screen for chatting and letters, it saves alot of time that made the Gamecube version feel very tireing.

I had alot of fun with AC on the Cube for atleast 3 months. Non Stop. But then school kicked in again and I messed up poor CubesVil. lol

And the game is great. All you need is half an hour at night, not much, to unwind and concentrate on a task or just mess about.

Go to nook. Then talk to him, go to other things and he'll say turnip prices, hear code, say code. Go to hear code. Put in the Town and name of the person you want to send an item. He'll then ask you what item you want to trade, pick an item and than you'll get a code from the other person. Easy as pie, i found it out yesterday.
